No you are not right.

How could you win a war that didn't even happen ?
You announced it as a win, while it can't be even considered as a forfeit.

-Scientifically:
forfeit - the act of losing or surrendering something as a penalty for a mistake or fault or failure to perform. You can't claim a forfeit vs [V] since we had a PARTIAL PERFORMANCE because some [V] members were there, and a CW could've taken place even if the number of members who are joining is less + you didn't mention that a forfeit will take place if our members didn't attend = No representation.
I know it's silly to talk in law terms, but your argument is invalid from both aspects: in-game ethics, and real law terms.

If you want to get free wins to make your history look more decent, then find noob clans and ask them for a war, but don't loose LW's respect because you wanna add another win to your history.

I'm afraid I have to agree with sonix. If you don't even show up for an event you both had organized, the members participating should at least show up. And in the case that they don't, it's still a victory over the other clan having members that were more organized and capable of making a cw possible

It was 4 v 4, and only 3 of our members attended.
I didn't argue that their organization was better (even if there is a strong reason for the member who didn't attend), but the possibility of making a CW is 1 thing, and WINNING is another thing.
I doubt that a developed LW clan will add a win at CW history if 1 member of the other clan didn't attend, and the war was never done. Could you imagine [V] or [JOKER] doing this ? The answer is clear, because we have ethics.
