So we be sticking with Commix.. fine..

Commix - Cold Kiss [feat. Logistics] (<< says free download on Metalheadz' soundcloud but I couldn't find it)

Commix - Painted Smile (<< this one's available for download though)

Commix - Deep

Generally spoken, you might like Metalheadz' soundcloud winni. Theres also some oldschool sets (mid to late 90's) by Goldie, Peshay, Doc Scott and the likes available for free download.

Also, I've posted this here before but winni might have missed out on it. And since its such a banger..

Kiat - Diablo (<< free download)

Cheerios and have a nice weekend. :)

I am pretty sure I posted this before, and you oldtimers might consider it cheesy.
Kaleb - Dusty Blinds
It's all because of this tune that I got into (liquid) drum and bass!
I guess I never lost the uplifting feeling I get when I hear this track.

In order to complete my own little Commix list real quick..

Commix - Strictly (<< my personal favorite)

Commix - Be True

Commix - Japanese Electronics

And a decent VIP as dessert..

Artificial Intelligence - Days of Rage [V.I.P]

@ S3rs: Dusty Blinds is better than 50% of the mediocre (if at all) crap that's being played in clubs lately!
There's so much wonderful, melodic and harmonic stuff on youtube, yet all you hear is this monotone neurofunk style over and over, no matter where you go. I like some rough stuff here and then, but not the whole night.
Don't even get me started on DJs adding dubstep to their DnB sets. *sigh*

That's mainly because generic liquid drum & bass is so hard to dance to! Take Hospital Records for instance, they release some liquid stuff, but only tracks like C&K's new album gets bplayed in clubs because with those drums and kicks it's not really considered liquid anymore.

Take this track now, melodic beauty but would you like to hear it in a club?
Solid Inc. - What I Found (State Function Remix)

As this is free to download, here's a link since I'm sure you will like.

Honestly, yes.
Even though this particular tune you picked there is above average "happyhappyjoyjoy" / "cheesy" (not a bad thing in this case don't worry.. about to download, ha), but I for one certainly would dance to most of the (liquid) stuff I post/-ed here.
I'd rather blame the DJs and big parts of the audience.
DJs because they're trying to go the easy way. Neurofunk (think Noisia, Phace) is much more based around a very dominant percussion, often using a more "punchy" bassline instead of "rolling". A little bit like cloning Phil Collins on crack 3 times. Whereas Liquid usually relies much more on (more or less complex) synthesizer patterns, harmonies and melodies combined with an often "rolling" and steady bass. Not to forget the vocals (despite me giving a flying fart about them mostly). Easy to tell which of these 2 subgenres is easier to mix on the fly.
The majority of the audience because they're young, wild and filled with energy. Therefore go nuts on pretty much anything the guy on the stage is dropping. Can't really blame them for that though, I guess. Once upon a time.. I was less old too.

And look at guys like Netsky who's playing an "awful" lot of his own stuff (read: finest liquid to my ears) in his sets, yet he's selling out clubs. And I'm sure all the (young) heads would dance to it, if there was enough room to do so. ;D

Well, maybe one day I find some club / lounge playing some uplifting liquid once a month or so here. Maybe I should stop visiting the same 4-5 clubs and explore some new ones. Maybe DnB will become less popular again any time soon, so it would be possible to see international DJ imports again without being squashed in by a rabid horde of teenagers. Maybe I convert to classic music.
Naaaaawwwwww!

Finishing my post with 2 fresh tunes, to do justice to both of these subgenres..

Mayhem & Phace - Lightyears Apart

Callide CSS - Tonight

Ha, lovely to read your point of view to things.
Should check out this one right here, Muffler ft. Cat Knight - Put Me Down.
Muffler is quite underrated in my opinion, while he makes serious tunes.

Deserves being linked in public aswell I think (bare with me S3rs)..

Diaz-Soto - Ram100 Mix

To celebrate the 100th release from RAM Records, Berlin DJ Diaz-Soto put together this little fast-paced mix, showcasing tunes from RAM's beginning to present. A little journey through the evolution of DnB. Enjoy!
Though, I wonder if anyone else but us 2 is following this thread. ;D

Heya I just had to bump this again, had an amazing demo in my inbox today.
As you're probably the only other guy in the topic, this is for you v3! :)

Remember the Scape tune I uploaded a while ago? Well this guy was half of it.
Ellie Goulding - Lights (Accentu8 Remix)

Edit v3: Link was messed up so I fixed it.

"Lights" was decent. I don't like the latest C&K stuff too much though.
Don't have a tune to post this time around. Still listening to Brookes Brothers' Snowman and Breeze Block & Emillion's Fusion all day, heh.

Just discovered Fred V and Grafix will be here Saturday the 19th. DnB on 2 floors, liquid on the big mainfloor. This will be a fuckin' feast! :D

Warm-up for Saturday..

Fred V - 48 Hours

Fred V - Levitation  << Merely a little snippet without any signs of a release as of yet.

Also, I have to adjust my last comment about Camo & Krooked. I indeed didn't get into most of the stuff they produced for the last 12 months or so. I just clicked myself through their newest EP (Cross The Line) however, and found quite a few goodies on it. More on that later.

Some Seba, some C&K and some more warm-up..

Seba - Nostalgia

Camo & Krooked - Cross The Line [Instrumental] << So glad they also released this instrumental along with the original version! And glad C&K are back to their roots again, away from the latest "over the top" productions. Trance meets DnB. Absolutely fantastic tune.

Fred V & Grafix - Decades
