[...] Is he playing in Berlin any time soon?
Yea, he was here last saturday. At the
Icon, one of the oldest and most popular DnB clubs in Berlin. Therefore most of the topacts are getting booked there (Netsky, Camo & Krooked, Logistics, Nu:Tone.. they all visited the Icon within the last few weeks to name only a few examples). Unfortunately, it's also one of the smallest clubs.
Long story short: We arrived at around 3am, stood in line outside the club for good 45 minutes, watched the police arriving at shortly before 4 and finally were sent home shortly after, since local residents complained about the noise made by the people waiting outside. Nobody was let in anymore (though it must have been way too crowded inside anyways). Screw DnB becoming more and more mainstream.
So yea, no Netsky live for me this year. We then went to the
Fuckparade aftershowparty (DnB aswell) which was pretty nice I might add (but Berlin resident DJs, so less liquid).
Now waiting for John B on September 17th. Who is booked at
Rosi's, one of my favorite clubs in recent years.
