Nice compilations there Runey.

Lately i'm working out with some motivating heavy metal:

Primal Fear are perfect:
! No longer available
! No longer available

This is their singer Ralph Scheepers (ex-Gamma Ray) in a solo project:
! No longer available

Slash:
! No longer available

Also listening to a prog band i've discovered recently, Porcupine Tree:
! No longer available

This is not "easy" music to listen to tho, same as the early Genesis

I'll check these out, but i listen to pretty much every type of Metal music except for heavy and death metal. They don't seem attractive to me at all, alternative is my favourite.

You might've heard of Stiched Up Heart, Sabaton, Xandria, Semblant, Unleash the Archers etc. This is the hardest i can go with.

Here's some Alternative Metal:

Halestorm

I miss the misery, Love bites (so do I), Mayhem, Daughters of Darkness, Sick Individual, Mz Hyde, I get off.... check some of these. :)

Porcupine Tree is one of my favs at the moment. I urge you to check out their albums Deadwing and In Absentia. Both are true cornerstone albums of modern prog rock.

Arriving Somewhere But Not Here

The Sound of Muzak

The bands mastermind Steven Wilson also does solo stuff. It's slightly different and maybe even a bit more "harder" to listen to but still amazing nonetheless. Wilson is considered a real musical genius in the music circles, especially in the UK but sadly he is very underrated by the public, my guess is it's because for most people his songs need to be listened multiple times before you start understanding the hidden beauty. Here are two of his works:

Drive Home

The Raven That Refused To Sing

Thanks for the hints Darfy!

I've already listened to the whole In absentia album and also their first works, but since you need to listen to this music several times before you can "absorb" it, i still need some more sessions.

If i'm right In absentia is the album from which P.T. started experimenting a harder sound

Animals As Leaders - The Woven Web
wow these guys are good, thanks for the suggestion Darfy, you're always a certainty  :D (finally a song which emphasizes the bass!)

I relaunch with a band i've found thanks to youtube's advice, Earthside:

Haha thanks and you're welcome, I actually had an urge to share this song simply because it's completely nuts. Complex music is something that deeply interests me and this song is easily the most difficult stuff to play I've heard in a while. I'm learning this track on drums at the moment, the so called "chorus" is nothing too hard apart from a few odd poly-rhythmic patterns, but the verse with the slap guitar thingy is just insane, despite that it's all in 4/4 (which is rather unusual for these guys) but the fast foot triplets make it extremely hard.. Maybe in a few months...

I was gonna post another compilation of me songs in the Hiphop section when I realised I have been spamming that section for a while so ya here I am :P (I love sharing my music). Alright I hate the metal genre but I do like a few rock bands beside the most known (ACDC/Queen/Nirvana). I am more into alternative/hard/punk rock. Don't be surprised if what I shared is actually pretty famous cause I am really no specialist lol.

Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqds0B_meys

Three Days Grace - Pain
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ud4HuAzHEUc

Three Days Grace - I Hate Everything About You
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8ekz_CSBVg

Enough Three days grace for now although I'd share all their songs if I could :(. Those are the most famous ones.

Breaking Benjamin - Dear Agony
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGrM1sh-8pE

Breaking Benjamin - Anthem Of The Angels
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QB3pxBDZvf4

Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aklqFpyd56k

Time for 30 seconds to mars

Thirty Seconds to Mars - "Closer to the Edge"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4zigrgH-_k

Thirty Seconds to Mars - Kings and Queens
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSiTrGCAbt8

Thirty Seconds to Mars - "This is War"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMAVLXk9QWA

I also love pretty much all 30 seconds to mars songs. Now it is time for the jackpot, the greatest ever rock/and the rest (lol, they tried almost everything) band, in my opinion, Linkin Park. I know each and every song they released (That's what you call a die hard fan :D). And yes I love all their albums indiscriminately haters not only the earliest >:(!

Bleed It Out (Official Video) - Linkin Park (This song gives me goosebumps mayneee)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnuuYcqhzCE

Papercut (Official Video) - Linkin Park
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjVkXlxsO8Q

Breaking The Habit (Official Video) - Linkin Park
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2H4l9RpkwM

Castle of Glass (Official Video) - Linkin Park
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScNNfyq3d_w

What I've Done (Official Video) - Linkin Park
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sgycukafqQ

I didn't share Numb and Faint cause who the fuck doesn't know these songs lol. Well that's about it enjoy :).

Ya I like it a lot, thanks man! It kinda reminds me of some Green day songs. And about the linkin park songs, know it, know it and know it  ;) and love em all especially given up (Unlike most people I find that Minutes To Midnight is actually their best album. I love the bitter-sweet ambiance or mood most of the songs bring out. Also bleed it out is a goddamn masterpiece, this shit had me and my boys jumping when we first heard it  ;D! Good times  :-\...

I was gonna share guilty all the same, since Rakim the god mc (yes ladies and gentlemen) was featured on it but I was set on avoiding their latest album (which is very good in my opinion, I loved A line in the sand and Rebellion) since it received a hell lotta criticism and I DID NOT WANT TO GIVE NO BAIT TO ATTRACT NO HATERS, u know wadda mean  ;D :P.

Anyways thanks for the suggestions again and take care man!

You bastards better check this out; Playlists including Metal/Rock bands and their songs from 60s to 90s.

60s

70s

80s

90s

I've got to agree with the fact that Linkin Park was the band i started off with my metal/rock era, i don't listen to it as much nowadays though. With their well known song Inthe End.

I was "removing the dust" from an old Dream Theater's underrated song, Scarred.
It has to be one of the most hard rock DT's songs, plus there's a great guitar solo at the end, it's worth a listen:
