Special treatment for driveby

I'd post this in the other driveby post but I think the only way is to just make a topic from scratch to explain myself better.

What I want:

- For DB to be disabled from motorcycles.
- For DB to be disabled when using Uzis or Tec-9's.
- For DB to be abled only when in a car and with mp5.

Advantages:

- People who like DB can still do so but cannot properly use semi-automatics in combination with sawn-offs if they - plan on DBing.
- It's harder for people for people to 'finish' off people after DBing and getting out of the car.
- No inconsistence with stats and kills.
- No bullshit for people who want to mess around and properly DB.
- Less bitching from people who are real pro e-gangsters and always fight on foot to make their e-penis huge.

Disadvantages:

- I think it's possible to script this, but someone will have to do it and it's time they spend.
- All other DB punishments will have to be removed from the script and that's extra work.

DB to little health and getting finished off in the most lamest ways, makes alot of newbies leave. It's really sad that people can't think about those newbies some more...
I don't think any script-change will do anything about because it's the mentality that needs to change. Nobody really helps, they just care about kills and being pro, which causes deterioration..

Look at it this way, if you really really want to DB, you have to sacrifice using running weapons properly.

If a new player sees that db is disabled for uzi (one of the default spawn weapons) and is not told that buying a MP5 he will be able to db, he will probably think that db is not enabled at all for any weapon and that he is only allowed to fight on foot, leaving the server to go to another one which allows db from the very first moment.

So I would only support this suggestion if the default spawn uzi was changed for a MP5, or at least a text explaining the new players that they can't db with uzi but can if they buy MP5 (which is too expensive by the way).

Gryphus most players prefer when servers disallow driveby, but the players that are determined in doing so will find a way to do it. Maybe if they do the firing action with uzis or tecs they get a message saying 'db only abled with mp5'.
