Not quite a good idea, I agree, but read at last:

Ability to type a command to stop counting stats until you re-type it again. To avoid abuse at every death, make it either with /yes, /no after typing, letting a message box appear or allow it every hour only.

That's why it should be a command to show or hide stats (whether permanently or not) not to turn off stats.

When you give the option of turning stats off for people who care for stats, they'll play more and won't avoid death. At the same time, people who like showing off with stats will have their stats. Yes, the competition will increase, but this will apply to everyone else.

3. No pickups.

I died when I was walking in.
Again, why?
Well, theres this discussion about door camping, especially around ammunation, right?
Why does everyone fight at the ammunation?
Because if you want to fight elsewhere, you'll have to drive to ammunation to get armour again after each fight.

Solution 1.
Add pickups, not too many, not too few and not in places where it's easily abusive (refilling in fights).

So that would solve the "Ammunation is the battlefield! And I like shooting newcomers while they walk through the door!".
Could also solve the playercount problem, a bit.

Solution 2.
Godmode when a player tries to enter an interior (could be abusive to escape from fights though, might require a rule).

But this doesn't solve the death evading problem, not entirely anyway.
What annoys me, with dying. Is when I'm lame killed (backshotted, helikilled while fighting, drive by'd and later he jumps  off trying to finish me), and has to drive to ammunation again, dodging the door camp. Every, single, time.

Solution.
Add spawnarmour.

Told ya, we get alot of people moaning who gives a fuck what lvp got we have 100% better script than them and we add what we think is best for us or what we need.

LW, is way different than LVP.
Pickups and spawnarmour does not represent LVP.

Ammunation should not represent LW.
Doesn't any of you grow sick and tired of that spot, don't you ever feel like fighting ANYwhere on the map without the feeling that you have to goto ammunation to get armour soon.

Anyway, I'll create a new topic, and try to change your minds.

Just let me remind you guys, I'm not trying to turn LW into LVP. I'm not trying to implement a little bit of LVP into LW.

LW is it's own server, I do not want another LVP.
My suggestion was only, a suggestion, based on knowledge and experience, not LVP.

as for a /stats on(off) command, it would be dodgy since people would probably use it right before they die, take [UST]The_Don for example, from vc-mp LW, he used a macro for it so he never gained a single death.

perhaps you could add a confirmation command to stop abuse

"are you sure you want to turn off your stats (Y/N)"

I can't really think of any other methods, but I'm with zeg on this one

A time limit of 5 minutes for turning stats on/off would prevent abuse.

Anyway +1 to jOjO's  suggestion.

LVP. Spawn armour is not fun in my eyes. All the noobs will be slaughtered.
