friday 13th, nightmare on elm street, halloween were pretty good movies for their times.. silent hill, texas chainsaw massacre (the original movie from 1974) , house of wax etc..

No offence, The Hills Have Eyes is such a BAD movie. It just doesn't feel right..
When i was younger, i once watched The Glass House, and the image has always been stuck in my mind, and its not that scary at all.

Other than that, Silent Hill.

uhm.. one of the very few movies that ever made me feel unconfortable is paranormal activity

another one is antichrist but that one is not really scary but in return its unbelievably disgusting.
