To make the minimum amount of the bounty higher would be nice.
It would give the newbes another reason to try to make more cash which should make them more inclined to the server.
50,000 $ minimum for bounty would be good.

Nooooooo man, totally wrong!!! Don't come here talking about newbies because increasing the minimun would, as Hazard said, make it harder for newbies to use this feature. You say that "it would give the newbes another reason to try to make more cash which should make them more inclined to the server" but... why do newbies have to be forced to earn cash? and why would that make them more loyal to the server? wouldn't they leave the server more probably if they have denied access to more features of the server?

I think you don't completly understand what i ment, but here i try to explain again.
When a player can do/have everything they like immediatly, there will be less for them to explore & have fun with.
You take away some form of challenge to grow bigger & bigger & have more money.
Money is one of the big things that make people move & do shit.
But hey,  i also like the minimum we have now, just suggesting

As we all know,earning moneeyz on LW is far too easy...so...I think that players will stay longer on server if that trip to 5 mills will last longer than ...2 days!  ;)
So..I think that alota players quit LW when they reach 5 mills...!

Mmmm, but according to that theory, players would play longer if bank limits were increased because it would take them longer to fill them up, but actually all signals indicate that bank limits will on the contrary be reduced.

The delay will be added. I was thinking we could make other simple, but interesting additions to the bounty system:

  • We should make the bounty additions anonymous. In a proper bounty you don't publicly announce that you want someone murdered. For those who take the game a little more seriously; it would allow for back stabbings between gang members and rivals. It would also stop people having bounty adding wars which also spam up the screen.
  • Make the bounty addition not be announced instantly. There will be a certain time period in which the bounties will be updated, this will allow the highest bountied player to have the highest bounty for a longer period of time... so a player with a high bounty is exposed for longer period of time and a newer player will have their high bounty in the system for longer.

The system message would be updated to something like:

* The bounty on [name] has been increased from $[old] to $[new].
* The bounty on [name] has been increased from $[old] to $[new]. You can find them by following the orange blip on your radar.


I would like to try it out and see if it has any interesting effects on bounty gameplay.
