hey all i update the samp to 0.3b... but everythime i play on lw server it says conencting to lw server 0.3a or soemthingl ike that and looses conection

Ohh no, this will reduce the number of players even more!!! and not only here, but also in other servers I usually play in: for example one of them used to have many players and now is almost as empty as LW.
The problem is that players are not told that they have to update if they don't visit the forums or Samp's homepage: when you try to join a 0.3b server and you have 0.3a, instead of saying "the server didn't respond, retrying", it should tell you to update!!! I found it out by pure chance when I saw a Devilboy's thread (now removed) talking about this. And this problem is not servers' fault, but samp's fault.

But there's even more shit!!! some servers are still using Samp 0.3a whereas others have updated to 0.3b, so I cannot play in all servers because I can't have the two versions installed at the same time!!!

stop crying. It was the same after 2.x " OH NOES THEY SHOULD NEVER HAVE UPDATED", but eventually all servers will move on to 0.3b since it's kind of an combination of 0.3a & 0.2x. Just give it time it's only been released for a day -_-

Understand your point though, its not really logical. If a game patches usually the majority plays using the latest patch.

I think it would be good for the community if just one version was left to download and play. Just my two cents.

What I say is that players should be explicitly told to upgrade by the Samp program itself, as other programs of different kinds do (like Firefox, CCleaner, Adobe Reader, etc.), that they automatically search for updates and tell you when there's one. Also the servers should help in informing about this, for example in their forums and announcing it on the main chat some days before, because as I said before, in my case for example I learnt it just by pure chance when I saw that removed Devilboy's thread. If I haden't got to see that thread, I would be now totally crazy saying "wtf is happening here???" and maybe I would have even reinstalled it all. That's why you shouldn't have removed that Devilboy's thread, cannot you restore it? or create a new, sticky one, with an explicit subjetc saying something like "UPGRADE TO SAMP 0.3B".

When have I denied that in the old times LW had more players? what I have been always saying is that the lose of the Official tab is not the only cause of the server being empty.

Never meant that you said there weren't more players. But the lose of the Official Tab came along with 0.3a, and that's why we've lost players, both official tab and update, but you kept saying the gamemode's "bad", not quite, but you know....and now that 0.3b's out, it's guilty. Sure.
