Holy crapz. Really? DP is rumored to do 24 songs for the movie. Finally they come out with a new album. =)
As for the movie.

Looks pretty friggin rad man.
All the glowing shit looks stunning.
Sadly I'm not to sure if the storyline will work out.
Only time will tell.

Seriously they started, Electronic music. (Well in my opinion. More or less they were a kick start into GOOD Electronic music.) If it weren't for them I would have never even heard of house music. Even Electro in general. Seriously tell me you do not like even one of their songs after you listen to all of their albums. If you say you don't even like just one song of theirs then, I have a feeling that your just in denial.

-Superbad: I'd gladly watch Tron with ya. Only problem is the distance that we are from each other.  :o

for me electro began with:
Kraftwerk - Trans Europa Express (09:38)

:D

and with Manuel Göttsching`s masterpiece session "E2-E4", but thats more the beginning of berlin minimal at 1981. The full session got about 60 minutes:
E2-E4 / Manuel Göttsching

or Jean-Michel Jarre wih his hit "Oxygene IV"
Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxygene IV Penguins

I also heard in the 80s as child:
The Dream Is Always The Same - Tangerine Dream - Risky Business Soundtrack

but electro was for me music like this:
Jimmy Spicer 'The Bubble Bunch' (Mercury 1982)
or like this:
The Sugar Hill Gang- 8th Wonder (INSTRUMENTAL- VERY RARE- TEST PRESS ONLY VERSION)
or like this:
Man Parrish - Hip Hop, Be Bop (Don't Stop)
or this:
10 Speed - Tour de France (Radio Edit)
or this:
Grandmaster & Melle Mel - White Lines (Don't Don't Do It) (U.S. Street Mix)

I know most of them sound today to us as usual cool oldschool hip hop, but we called this electro back in the time :D

BUT DAFT PUNK are great, great sounds and their sound is soo kicking, best play it from vinyl at a good stereo in a disco :-)
They are so cracking!:

Daft Punk - Rollin' & Scratchin'

Daft Punk - Something About Us (not interstella video)

Daft Punk - Human After All

Daft Punk - Short Circuit

this perfect song if you mix funky house:
High Life - Daft Punk

even beat torrent love daft punk as you can see here:
BEAT TORRENT

and how can anybody not like this video:
Daft Punk - Revolution 909

is this really daft punk, is this really from the new tron movie? nevertheless it`s cool:
Daft Punk - Tron Legacy *NEW*

Yes. Specially the ones SUPERBAD posted. The only one that he does not have up there that stands above the others in my opinion is "Aerodynamic" but all of their songs are neat.
