Neverending discussion about the old gamemode (no bank status saving and stuff)

Well, there's a thing that is very clear: access to weapons MUST be easy. Why? because if getting good weapons is difficult, it means that regulars will have better weapons than newbies. And if a regular, besides of being more skilled, also has better weapons, THEN HE HAS A DOUBLE ADVANTAGE!!!
However, if weapons are easy to get (so both newbies and regulars have them), the regulars still have better skills, but at least it's just a single advantage, and not a DOUBLE one!!!

But not only that: starting with only deagle was so shitty that it was making many people use cheats!!!












































If the server had been giving good weapons to players from the very first moment, maybe most of those players wouldn't have been FORCED to cheat, so they wouldn't be now banned, and the server would have more players!!!

Shit I was away for two days and now I can't get back on topic... I've read it all but answering to all of this is impossible, so I will answer to a few.

Gryphus, you say that when I was a newbie there were no real regulars. Well, you are wrong. There were eVos, MOB, W, JOKERs and a few more that I don't remember. And some really pro regulars, legends with skills that are difficult to meet even now. And they were chasing me even when I had all weapons. When I was on the ship, and I've seen anyone with a tag coming, I didn't even think, I started to run or pmed him with a magic question: peace?

And you say that newbies were poor because they couldn't kill rich regulars. Thats true, and this is why the ship was crowded. And before you will say me something like "forcing ppl to stay on the ship is bad" I will reapat it once again: everyone was a newbie once and had to start with nothing to get something.

You are right! There are also ppl who use money cheat! They are poor, so why shouldn't they use it? WE SHOULD GIVE THEM MONEY! Oh and forget about ppl who use hh, they are using it just because they can't kill somebody! We should give them a normal immortality, so that they wouldn't have to cheat! And weapons! What would you say for a spawn chainsaw as a default weapon? It's a very cool and powerful weapon, why don't we let ppl to use it?

Oh and you say that the current gamemode is better than it was at the beggining of the year? Yes, you are right here. It's much better. But it's only because at the beggining of the year the gamemode was really horrible.


Hazard Shit, I was just going to post a suggestion about changing the spawn weapon system! I think it would be the best to buy spawn weapons, and you will spawn in normal way with it, like it is now, but a money for them would be taken from ur bank automaticly.

And I like dropping the weapons, I think that this system would help a lot to the server and maybe I will even stop crying about removing the permanent bank I would really love to see this implemented as soon as possible...

I agree that we should help newbies to start on LW's, but not by giving them advantages over regulars, but by making it easier for them to learn everything that regulars know, making it easier to find a gang etc. etc.

You wont improve the server anyways, there is bunch of things you could do, but well you see what hapens,
the end is coming, just accept it and walk away, you people on forum cant do anything about it....

I don't want to imagine how terrible the old LW had to be when bank didn't save your money and there weren't good default weapons, nor car exports, nor autohosted races.

way to much to read, so I didn't, but only thing I miss from the old script is the people. When I first came to LW I really liked the people, people were helping and they were mostly friendly. People did races on their own by simply inviting people to the race. Morons were shot to death before the race. But no banks and stuff, hell no, that's a step back to the basic script. Just because 2-3 people would like to get the old script back, it doesn't mean others want it. As we all know, new SA-MP players aren't what they used to be and they expect more than the basic LW script that was used in 2007-2008.

I agree with you.When i started to play here,ppl were still nice , there was alot of races and stuff,now its nothing,almost noone creates a race because they are scared that morons will shot them down and other stuff.Sad

Very true: it's not the same to attract players nowadays than doing it some years ago when Samp was still quite new. Now, many players have the option to play more modern games so Samp servers (not only Lw, but in general) have to offer different and unique things that you can hardly find in any other game.
