NEW EVENT THIS SUNDAY

I think i have my CPU fan problem fixed (im hoping) So event IS on today at 8PM GMT (or around this time)

I will be using a system on the server which i am not fully used to so a couple of things:

Please do not use grenades against NORMAL PLAYERS they are for the event only!
The event may take time to get organised as im the only admin atm so please be patient
and YOUR color will change when i add you to he event so just ignore it.

Teams will be decided randomly and there will be a red and blue team.

See you guys around 8pm(ish)

Event failed. For some reason when i give some players a grenade they feel an instant urge to throw it and not listen to me.

Neon with a minigun killin of participants fucked up the winners and people being generally bugged.

So...this was a failure....

Cool idea. I like the idea of using the pirate ship for minigames. What was the player turnout?

After my exams I will see about making this a more permanent thing in the script. What do you think about it occuring automatically as a regular thing once a week/fortnight or maybe just as a preset to the admin grouping system?

i had lot of fun last night, the event lured a lot of the regulars and the general atmosphere was nice so dont call it a fail. Most players enjoyed the pirate fight, they were released a bit toos oon, but they still had a fairly fair fight. It filled the server with more players thats for sure.
