Rustler Duel Event Tonight around 21 GMT+1

What?: Rustler Duel Event
Where?: LW server, somewhere far away from LV in the woods so watch out for trees and rocks!!!
When?: 14/11/2010 at 21:00 GMT+1
Why?: Try-out of the Rustler duel event concept and for those who like it. Don't kill me if it fails.
How?: Just be on LW server around 21 GMT+1 and wait for my announcement for further info. No need to subscribe
Prizes?: 1st: 4 000 000$ 2nd: 2000 000 $ 3rd: 1 000 000 $
System?: Series of a knock-out 3 round 1vs1 Rustler Duels until 1 chamion is left. Need explanation?
Rules?:: No guns, no ground help, no bug abuse, no surfing, no help. Just simple 1vs1 Rustler fight. I claim the rights to alter anything about the event in order to make it go better,faster, more fair etc.
Extra: Ping limit: 250
Max Participants: 16 (so be on time on LW to call ur id after announcement, no reservations before)

So lets say there are 12 participants: 2 players are randomly chosen to take on their first rustler duel. They start from same position on the ground and take off in opposite direction. When one of the planes is down(will be announced), the winner still has to make it back to the starting point and land to win. If the player cannot make it back, the duel is invalid and considered a tie. The winner out of 3 valid duels wins and goes to next round. The 6 winners of the first round now have to do same again against each other until 1 champion wins, called knock-out system

Staff will be watching both duellers, and when the player is considered to far away from the battlefield (dont worry, u will have enough freedom but im talking about like back to LV or something) he will be called back or else killed.

NOTE: For now there is no reason to think i can't make it. But i would like to state that if for some important reason i cannot make it tonight, please excuse me and the event will not be canceled but postponed to another time and date.

  Please don't host it somewhere in woods. There is a simple reason for that. Some players lagg alot while flying through these trees... (not only with my old computer, I have seen it on friend's old computer too).

My suggestion would be SF with the red railway bridge and the car bridge. There is still something to crash but you don't start lagging.

I have been seeing some cool events these last days, like destruction derby arena or minigun war, but this is just something that I can't believe!!!!

But what worries me most is that in all those events, I have been there by pure luck because I joined the server a few minutes before the events were starting (like in this case for example: I'm writing here but actually I didn't find this event by reading here, but by joining the game in that moment by chance, and it was then when I came here to check this). Yeah I know, events are announced here and I hardly visit this board, and I'm not blaming anyone, but it's just that I'm afraid of missing any of those awesome and unique events.

these events are to reward those who stick by LW daynnight, so just coming to LW regularly to play, u will be able to see these events.
