Like he said buying a PC for around 2000 or 3000 is pretty normal in his country. So if he wants to spend that let him.

Also Alvar i would wait with the HD6950 till most bugs are figured out and more variants are releast for it by other manufacturers like MSI or powercolor or Sapphire or something those are usually a bit cheaper than XFX but thats just my experience here.

For a CPU like that i would rather use a Cooler Master V8 or V10 even. Costs about 20 euro or 40 euro more but better cooling anyway. The V10 even cools the RAM banks and other parts of the Mobo that generate heat. Also if your goin with intel CPUs go with Nvidia cards, and AMD cpus with ATI cards (HD6950, HD5870 etc etc) ATI and AMD usually work better together since ATI took over AMD or AMD took over ATI dont know who took who over but those drivers are better compatible.

I personally would go for AMD typ of PC simply cuz i struggled alot with my old Intel crap pc. Plus the endless battle of them fanboys sayin Intel is better than AMD or AMD is better than intel is bullshit. They are pretty much equal these days.

agreed, but intel hex core does/supposedly does have bigger L3 caches  (which is better now) so only difference, but intel are a lot more then amd...sayin that i have amd and not once have i thought "damn i need this to be faster".

would disagree with intel +nvidia - i use amd and nvidia and it works nicely -seems compatible. Only prob ive had is my mobo audio going out, because i used a gtx graphics hd/w audio cable to my hd tv, and its just gone a bit odd. But not a huge issue atm so :D

i never even tried any intel thingy. AMD always was enough for me.

amd:
- hotter than intels
- faster @ games than intels from same price range
- better with ATI graphics cards
- cheap motherboards
- better low and mid end CPUs, worse highend CPUs (there are no AMDs for 300€ +)

intel:
- cooler than amds (better to overclock)
- faster @ video rendering and general calculation speed (but still slower with games ;))
- better with nvidia graphics cards
- expensive motherboards
- worse low and mid end CPUs, better highend CPUs (stuff up to 1.000€)

both AMD and ATI have far better cost efficiency thats why i would always buy AMD + ATI.

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1035T (yes, im a hex core whore)
Mobo (not the best i know, but works for me) H-Alpinia-RS780L-uATX (Alpinia)
Gfx Card: Geforce GTX 470 Zotac (so it can be over-clocked)
RAM: 6GB DDR-3 (wont tell me producer)
HD: ITB SATA (its either 2 or 3 but i cant find out much about it)
PSU: Corsair 800W gamers PSU (this is a LOT more then i needed. 550 was the min so its a huge buffer, but it was on sale and i wanted the POWER!!! lol)
Case: http://www.maplin.co.uk/jet-turbine-atx-pc-case-48124?c=so&u=strat15 (yes i know the name sucks but the case is awsome!)
OS: Win 7 64x
Also, my computer came with a blueray player, built in tv tuner and wireless card. All in this cost just over £1000. But soooo worth it.

I got this by buying a computer (with the cpu, hd, ram, ect), then i brought the case, psu and gfx card. Then swapped a few things over and boom, a nice pc.

sounds nice, I really like the psu! u wont regret that!

but isnt it loud?

in what resolution do you play gtaiv?

btw: does anyone got an idea how i could connect on a cheap way a new gfx card with my super old tv made of wood? :o

not as loud as you would think lol

resolution is hd tv - ummm think its 1280X720 720p (can go higher, but then its hard to see much) Played it on a 22"HD tv on max res as well lol

Hmm about the wooden tv issue - could try
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002NPZSSO/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=103612307&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B001EL4ZM8&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=0MRC7GJFB6HZ5YDPT0EY

You could connect that to a VCR, to the tv and tune in the pc :D

Does your TV have a cable like this superbad ?
http://www.cables4all.co.uk/ekmps/shops/cables4all/images/premium-male-to-female-tv-aerial-lead-2-metres-166-p.jpg

If yes then heres the following.

You would need a converter like bikedriver pointed out.
You need a adapter in your TV antenna cable like this one. it has the yellow red white connectors and the tv antenna connector on the back.
http://www.vottle.com/uploaded_images//1a16813dce7d6cf5d8cdd169e53ae715.jpg

You could go USB but you can also go for VGA (the blue monitor connector) U just need a cable that links to the white yellow red cable. Like this one for example:
http://bwindia.net/bwfiles/images/Cable%20Vardhman%20VGA%2015%20Pin%20Male%20to%20RCA.jpg

The reason i know this is cuz i still have a old NES (very first nintendo) And ive got that hooked up to my newer TV Pretty much works the same for PC.

well, i went to the store today and asked the sale man about this
I don't think it's worth spending so much on a PC.

Something decent I found, you should have those parts in your country aswell I assume.

Processor: Intel Core i7 2600K/ Quad Core/ 8 Threads/ 3.40 GHz/ Turbo / 8 MB Cache / 32 nm / LGA1155 / Sandy Bridge / Unlocked -287.00 €
CPU Cooling: Cooler Master cooler HYPER 212 PLUS - 29.80 €
Motherboard: GIGA-BYTE GA-P67A-UD3, P67, S1155, ATX - 117.05 €
RAM: APACER MEMORY DIMM 4GB PC10600 DDR3/KIT2 DL.04GAJ.F9EK2 APACER *2 - 73.60 €
GFX: XFX HD-695A-CNFC, HD6950, 2GB, GDDR5, 256bit, PCIE16 - 271.40 €
Harddrive: WD1002FAEX, CAVIAR BLACK, 1TB, 3.5", SATA3, 7.2K, 64MB - 76.70 €
DVD: SAMSUNG SH-S223C/BEBE DVD-RW/ 22x DVD+R/ SATA/ Black/ Bare type - 14.40 €
PSU: SeaSonic M12II-620 Bronze - 85.50 €
Case: THERMALTAKE V3 MID TOWER BLACK VL80001W2Z - 43.85 €
SSD: CORSAIR FORCE 90GB 2.5" SSD CSSD-F90GB2-BRKT - 180.70 €

1180€, those are the prices we have here, also putting it together costs like 20€. Roughly 1200€ and you have a PC that will last for a long time. And definitely performance wise better than AMD case. It could cost some more in your country, but with your budget, it shouldn't be a problem.
he said that i7 is kinda hard to own it for personal home pc its being used on companyes and hightech work and it will cost me 2000$ so im not getting this one

depends which I7 suppose - if its Hex i7 with the l3 and l2 buffers (which are the biggest atm) then its going to be expensive. A problem is (that i can see) no computer game (and most people, except possible computer programmers) need that much speed currently. CPU's (and ocmputer technology) in general will progress faster and so by the time people need a HEX i7 with big l3/l2 caches there will be new CPU's out, (hex/oct) with bigger L3/L2 caches.

Also, AMD whilst does not have as big l3/l2 caches then its Intel rival, seems to be fast enough, and works as well as intel, for less money.
