Thomas Newman`s Soundtrack for "American Beauty" is one of the best records I know.
The Yann Tiersen tracks used in "Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" are great too. But sometimes a lil too depresive for me.

Nice dnb songs took me two spliffs.
Do not know if you know NOHA, for about 2 years they got a new singer (minerva) and a new drummer (tobias), both friends of mine, know them from their former soul band. I like them and I like the new style of NOHA. (the drummer is DNB and soul/funk DJ aswel)

Krafty Kuts for the fuckin' win (damn sweet remix there)!! And yeah.. told you my opinion 'bout NOHA already.. live DnB at it's best.

And yes, I know that's not even the 'original' since O-Zone actually came up with that nonsense. In case I would have liked to listen to a transvestite yelping (literally).. well I would have asked for.

Same yelping transvestite has been 'used' here.. however, this tune simply rocks for some reason. Then again.. maybe it would have been even better without the yelping bit.
In fact, I pretty much liked everything I've heard from Rihanna so far. Cute voice (even though it's pitched a little bit I guess).

Since eDiT used the following track in one of his videos few months ago and it finally arrived on german radio stations recently (gotta love the "atlantic delay" lol.. about 4 months I guess), I thought I just might post it here too. Damn sweet tune!

"Electric Relaxation" and "Award Tour" by A Tribe Called Quest are most likely 2 of my all-time Top10 HipHop tunes (that's why I posted 'em earlier here somewhere).
They can be mentioned in one line with artists/acts like Naughty by Nature, De La Soul, The Pharcyde, Cypress Hill and few others.. no doubt.
True HipHop. Not the stuff being sold nowadays (even though I listen to some of the modern stuff aswell.. there's some catchy tunes you just can't resist).

yeah yeah yeah, nice hip hop indeed. But I like the "move" song of Q-Tip even more, and it is good hip hop nowadays. Also the "bluebird" song of One Self is great new hip hop. There are real nice new hip hop songs, but a lil harder to find than the new shit.
