Never played Call of Duty. I would like to play it (and Battlefied 3), which is why I am saving some money over my summer break to get me a decent gaming PC ... for studying

My advise if you have played MW2 then you have played MW3 aswell Its all the same just different missions. BF3 looks nothing like previous versions of Battlefield.

And what is Moder Warfare, Moder Warfare 2, and Moder Warfare 3?

So what CoD needed to do on 3rd release of the Modern Warfare is continue the story and fix some bugs or something even I didnt see any bugs that were noteworthy.
My point is.. that Modern Warfare(2007) can compete with Battlefield 3(2011) .. so I dont see where should CoD go with their graphics,psysics,sound etc to be best selling game ever.

Lol Cod only gets its best seller title.. cuz it pumps out twice the amount of CoD games than Battlefield does...

Atleast Battlefield moves on to better graphics and details and takes the time to come up with something new and not milk out a franchise which lost its appeal at the second release (MW2 its filled with hackers..)

Btw theres other game series out there which did upgrade their graphics over time.

Oh Wildy.. I know youre trying to make MW3 look bad but even on those compared pictures I still say MW looks better, its still more realistic, not plastic.
And as Burnz said. Even they both got same ratings. And MW3 has better story, BF3 has better multiplayer.

But srsly.. these days.. only games that suprised me with "something new" is LA Noire and Forza 4.

maybe battlefield is better ..but it is kinda boring for me , it is to much time without seeing a player, the maps are huge. i prefer the cod online style (more action and dynamic) and plus im already used to it so im not some random newbie

Play Team dethmatch on BF3 if you want to see people all the time, it's what I do.

But for those that love vehicles including helis and jets BF3 will just blow you away.

Look at the details 665, BF3 is alot more sophisticated and detailed, the lighting alone is 100% better than CoDs.

I dont think BF3 looks "realistic" becouse its plastic fantastic and it looks too good for a hardcore war game. CoD on the other side, haz the same thing, only is more alive and lighting is alot better for a hardcore war game. Also, they got the same rating so  few of us saying this is better, thats better wont make any impact.
But CoD is still better anywayz. Just the numbers at least.. tells the stories as always.

Call of Duty has been total crap since World at War. When theirs been no serious competition, till Battlefield 3 you can be lazy. If They don't understand that yet they aren't gonna be lasting much longer..

No serious updates, and continuously updating a few maps, no physics, and throwing the same price on the game and making profit. Pathetic.
