New rig

Well i'm going to set it up all by myself (whish me luck  ). I don't have a desktop computer, just a shitty laptop which is giving me a lot of trouble lately. It will not be just for games, I just want to set up one that will last me at least 3 years without any issues or other upgrades. I'm not that fussy with the graphics being high, all I want is a good gameplay without lag and a good framerate.

What @BikeDriver suggested me seems pretty cool. I think I'm buying that. A 120gb sdd should be enough for me i guess.

The Corsair CX series is quite low quality, hence why it's cheap and boutique builders cram it into their systems.

A good alternative to that is this.

Here's my take on the build, if you haven't ordered any of the parts yet

CPU: i7 4770k - €269
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO -  €30
Motherboard: Gigabyte G1 Sniper -  €145
RAM: - G Skills Ripjaws -  €79
Storage: - SSD and HDD - €72 and €45
Graphics card: GTX 770 4GB - €330
Case: - Thermaltake Urban -  €60

Total: €1030 (minus the power supply)

Couple of things about this build

- Newer motherboard (z97) compatible with the new generation of Intel CPUs (devils canyon/broadwell) in case you want to upgrade down the line
- RAM is only 8GB, which is just the right amount if you're only gaming. You can add one 1x4 stick if you feel the need but this should be just fine
- 4GB of VRAM in the graphics card, as Watchdogs just proved a little while ago, VRAM is now becoming a bottleneck for most people in the newer games, and it'll only be used more and more from now on.

The entire thing links to local Spanish stores, so you should have no trouble ordering parts or even replacing parts. Only used 2 (Amazon and Alternate.es) for the sake of convenience.

One thing you could do improve this is to wait till the end of June for the i7 4790k and get that, should offer you greater performance and overclocking potential for about the same price. To drive down the costs of the build, simply get a cheaper variants of the motherboard/GPU/Case and get a i5 4670k (or the 4690k at the end of this month). The i7 offers negligible gaming performance over the i5.

Btw.. make sure that you have connected the SSD and the HDD to SATA 3 ports. They should be white and label SATA1_2 or similar.

Also make sure that you have connected the RAM dimms to different channels for dual channel mode.

From the left to the right the order is:
Channel1_1, Channel1_2, Channel2_1, Channel2_2 |||| CPU |||| Channel4_2, Channel4_1, Channel3_2, Channel3_1

The manual recommends one of the following in order to enable dual channel:
Channel1_1, Channel2_1
or
Channel1_1, Channel4_2
or
Channel1_1, Channel3_1

yea..i had a great time I dind't expect it to be so big. I felt kinda stupid trying to figure out how to put the damn fan.

The display is not turning on during start up. I checked all cables to be sure everything was fine, but for some reason it doesn't turn up. The fans of the graphic work fine and that made me think that the graphics might not be the problem.
