The problem is that, there are too many participants but you set a time limit for the matches. Accept or not, this is not the right way. Even more, this  tournament has no similarity with traditional ladder events.

I actually waited for you guys to show up more than an hour and you still couldn't make it. Not to mention i was online even before 20:00 GMT so you could've just asked me to ref your duel if you knew you couldn't make it later.

Just because someone made a ladder event ages ago doesn't mean all future events should look the same. I posted the rules 1 week before the tournament started so you can get used to them but it seems like nobody bothered reading them. Again, I have no fault in this, I'm trying my best to make it work but showing up 2 hours late or not showing up at all is lack of respect and I will not tolerate it.

Videos of the 4 matches I managed to record. Apologies for the fucking around or just general "boringness" of the vids :D

aXXo vs Ryozuo

DronZ vs Riders

mahrozulamin vs Fercho

Nilz vs Gohana
Thanks for the videos !!
We can have some memory of the event :D

By signing up for this event you automatically agreed to take responsibility for attending the event at its set time. The responsibility for not showing up on time is yours to take, not anybody else's.

Read a contract before signing it, pal. Common sense.

I would for sure not participate if you state that there is a time limit when you started this topic.

10 out of 20 13 out of 24 matches were decided by disqualification when the event started two hours early?

Your point being?

The thing is that the time for the event was only established after virtually everyone registered for the event, with no flexibility in match scheduling so as to get it over with in three days instead of letting it play out. The consequence of this is that people have advanced to round 3 without fighting a single competitor due to no-show DQs. Even people who got past round 1 in a fair match got disqualified in round 2 because they couldn't make it at 3:30am India Standard Time. Watching people win based on technicalities isn't a competition.

personally I wouldn't mind if the whole tournament was dragged out over a month or two to give players multiple oppurtunities for arrangements between timezones. After all its the ' Summer ' cup and there isn't any other events really happening on the server. I guess with it being longer gives more time for practice and hype aswell.

ZUBI is the luckiest player in this cup for having made it to round 4 without fighting anyone because of DQs.
