MTA problem
« on: June 25, 2008, 07:25:42 AM »
Just a quick thread on why I don't play mta, maybe someone has a solution?

I download the MTA mod, install it all, and when I try load it up, it gives me the [stop playing with yourself] message, and then gives me an unhandled exception.
any help?

Yes, yes it does.
MTA:Race does not work on Vista, despite what was said about 1.1.2 and despite the fix that was to come out after a few days (this was said atleast a month ago, btw).
Sorry, I feel your pain as I'm on Vista x64 too.
I have to dualboot just for this game, an annoyance I'd rather be without.

Luckily, dualboot doesn't take that long to set up if you feel like giving that a go.

LOL, Wickerman, I'm guessing you don't have time to play MTA, since you're also on VC-MP and SA-MP :)

I thought that IRC-server went down for some reason and there was a switch. Ever since that switch, the Java IRC-channel on LW's here doens't/can't connect. I think this will be solved, at least I hope, I like to connect to IRC sometimes, but I'm too lazy to install a normal IRC-client :)

If you have started the java irc just type /server irc.gtanet.com in the chat box.
