Actually this screenshot is from an episode "Trumptastic Voyage" which was aired on July 7, 2015, approximately a month after Trump announced his candidacy.
However on March 19, 2000 an episode called "Bart to the Future" was aired and in that episode Lisa becomes the next US president after Trump's administration and while sitting in the White House she says "We've inherited quite a budget crunch from President Trump."
The Simpsons writer Dan Greaney commented the above prediction with "It was a warning to America. That (Trump being a president) just seemed like the logical last stop before hitting bottom. It was pitched because it was consistent with the vision of America going insane."
Personally I didn't side with either Trump or Clinton, they both said and did some pretty sick stuff and from my point of view neither of them is fit for the job. Surely there would've been better candidates out there, but they all were played out so early. No can do, it's the downsides of democracy; every soul is given an equal vote and even if the majority don't give or know shit about things, they go and vote just for the sake of voting without giving it a deeper thought. This is the result. But perhaps out of these two Trump is the lesser bad after all, we'll have to wait and see. I just can't get over how Trump, a rich reality TV face decides to pick up politics as a hobby and suddenly a moment later he's the leader of possibly the mightiest superpower in the world. So.. Kanye West 2020?
