We play this game for fun, whats wrong hosting a race for 50K ? When players interested on some feature and some regulars start to cry about it then staff remove / hard that feature. This is what making lw have changes every month. Lately LW player count was increasing, because players was interested on the server features but its not gonna continue if you make things hard for them because they are interested in it.

Having bigger prizes for races doenst reduce the fun of the game, does it? But it can attract more ppl to join the fun. By your logic it would also be fun to race without any prizes but that would leave the gameplay uncompetitive  ::)

Why don't we just change the level system a bit? Like if the race has a high amount of money to win you can earn more XP, and when it's a low amount of money to win you earn not that much XP, just to prevent the 'abuse' if that is the reason the minimum price is increased to 250k

Example - One time server money system increased, bank limit, etc. Then some regulars start to cry about it without a reason, then staff  decreased everything (bank limit, earing ways) and what happened? Most the regulars who cried about the high bank limit and easy earnings they left the server because of hug decrease.



why don you guys bring back the old system? was the shit , that's my humble opinion.
I like old system more than this too...
Its like you telling that you don't like i7 computer but you like P3 computer. What point you're basing on ?

It was changed due to low price racehosting by some players.

But 1.25m might be too much.It will be decreased to a bearable minimal price I assume.

I feel like there should be two racing systems in the server,the old one and the new one,but ofc thats not gonna happen.



IMO, The new racing system is easier but i want the old /racehost x x x back,

Ok i guess we had enough OT and non sense even in this topic (not to mention a catastrophic point of view about the server's situation, which isn't any close to reality, luckly).

Now that it was cleared it was just a typo i guess we are done here  :)

Can you explain this a bit more? What exactly isn't nice? The location, the mapping, the use of a door?

Which is a security premise for getting a hand on cheaters.

Apparently that is still possible to an extend. The most obvious indicator for this is that you have to get out of your vehicle before getting inside the lobby which increases your chances to be damaged.

Actually it was buggy, inefficient and very limited:
The racehost checkpoint vanished when your playerstate changed in streaming range.
The code had 30k lines with programming techniques from the early 2000's.
It regularly broke and conflicted with the duel arena, the textdraws or the map blip placement.
The racestart protection was less advanced.
Protected races (and everything associated) where non existent.
Everyone used Infernus only.
There were no dedicated air or sea races.
The system was limited to a certain number of tracks and could not be extended by new ones without losing the old races.
There was no automatic race hosting by the server. (This is btw where the taxes get invested in so you're basically financing more races by hosting them)
There were no track record leaderboards or race statistics.
No follow-up checkpoint indicators.


As much as i adore nostalgia but bringing that old system back would most likely mean a total overkill. Besides i remember that before the new system was added the races were about of the same popularity as right now, namely of none at all - so that wouldn't do any long term change either.
