Opening a TF2 server... again?

Isn't tf2 more like the party game, that you play once a month to chill with the crew and the rest of the month you do other serious business?
Like, does it really need a 24-7 server running for your monthly tf2 saturday evening. Why not just hop on random servers and somewhat promote a server each week within the forum and discord?

My thoughts exactly. Not kind of person who would go and throw shit at others work and optimism, but i'm afraid it'd fail just like a couple of times in the past. We can always promote a random server which we think does the job and join once in a while to relax, right? Although if the majority holds a different opinion than mine, i guess it's a done deal.

You've basically edited out the whole point of my post. I've never said anything that relates to complete negativity, i've expressed how i feel this could end up being another fail which you shouldn't mistake. I always hope for the best outcome of everything reasonable enough to believe in the first place. Can't say for sure this will work out as we'd TF 2 server hosted in the past and they were not so successful (doesn't necessarily mean i'm being negative), however if you do have the motivation to keep it up and look after it, go ahead and i will gladly join you on the way.

I never tried to say that ure being negative.
I mentioned just like ur intentions my intention was also positive but may be people didnt get it.
That is why i took that sentence out and cleared my point.

Im not being negative  just pointed out a possibility though(which i dont want to come).
