Not really... it's a bit like buying a ferrari when your 65 and only drive at 30... only Littlewhitey's will be run off the new server so there is no need for it to be as powerful as the server Popz has suggested. I suggest a duel core with 2Gb RAM, I think it would run completely fine with no lag and crashes. Atm, the server only crashes when it gets over 150 players. We share a server with other people, and it's half the spec of the one I have suggested. Try it - save money. I fail to see why such a powerful server is needed.

maybe he wants something cool to show off or has plans for other servers to be hosted on it or something? just be thankful he's letting us buggers use it hes the dude in charge let him do what he wants ! you never know, it might be free double ram or something :p or free quadruple ram

Its not only the game which will be hosted on the server.
Other thinks belonging to LW will be hosted there 2. But I can not tell cause it is secret.
