not always the best idea... if they are 2x1gb running in dual channel mode and u replace one by a 2gb the dual channel wont work anymore = performance loss instead of win..most likely ::)

thats not the direct X version that's the VIDEO CARD DRIVER VERSION. i have direct x 10 im on vista D:

lol you have the problem as mine... even tho it passed the video ram, it still didn't pass because its below 8600
