Niko Bellic couldn't kill a haemophilliac with a nail gun.  IV isn't all that great, except for the kick-ass graphics & physics.

gta IV is great. Nico is great.
But true, the coolest was tommy vercetti.

But it is the best game, I ve ever played. Best Story, best end, best physics/graphix. Great Vehicle handling. great cinematic look.

I am looking forward to play it again on the PC. If we really lucky they ll do it again as GTA3 -> Vice City -> San Andreas.
Would love to see a VC with the rage engine.
But I would love to see something like a GTA Hawaii.

The story is absolutely terrible :(  Well, I suppose it's unfair because it has to be compared to previous GTA games.  But still :/

I actually like GoW2's story way better, and I'm not even halfway through, and I hate all that fantasy-alien-sci-fi-stuff.

anyways gettin a new lappy for gta IV, btw i can pass minimum on my current desktop but not recommended. As far as i know i can play the game etc but it might lagg, and cant keep too many bg progs running..right?

Or will i just blow up my pc o_0

DANNYMC, The story of GTAIV is great. Its really good elaborated. It begins really good, Nico`s background is chosen perfect. Maybe its to much real and drama for you.
The story of Vice City is a good 80s mafia/gangsta storry. But not as good eleborated and its flat compared to GTAIV. I am really surprise you do not think so.
In GTA IV we good a really good storrytelling.
I guess your problem is the identification.
You prefer beeing a cool 70s/80s mafia guy, we owned nearly the whole town later.
You do not like beeing a illegal immigrant, who got nothing than a shitty cousin and who will never be able to have a really big buisness.

The story of GTAIV makes really sence, its a "gangsta" story of life. The story of Vice City is a lot more unrealistic.


GTAIV is much less glamour. ITs more reflective, contemplative.
