Well, you can put them in the game, but they appear as dumpers to other people from what I remember.  Either that or it just plain crashes/doesnt spawn.

Yes, I once tried scripting hydra's in LWs, but they first spawned as dumpers because I confused the id lol. But then it just crashed the server again and again. As far as I know, sa-mp blocks hydras so cheaters can't use it, so if you spawn one it crashes the server.
