If you can't connect to like 7 servers but everyone else can, are you sure the problem is in those servers?

You could try reinstalling GTA:SA and SA-MP. It's not guaranteed to solve your problems, but it might help.

Maybe you got mods installed? Could be that, my SA-MP kept crashing before I uninstalled them, too.

Try chaning compatibility modes of both samp and gta:sa.exe - sometimes helps...
Reinstall both
Remove any mods

Rinse,repeat,larther...

Do you crash while after playing a few minutes? Or do you crash before being able to enter the game. Also you use Vista, maybe it has something to do with that... I don't know much about crashes and solutions for them, but this info might help other people who might be able to help you solve the issue.

Try reinstalling GTA and SA:MP again, but do it in a different folder. The registry files might be stuck or something, and if you reinstall in the same folder it won't work.
I mean, uninstall the game, and then instead of installing it back in "Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas", install it in, for example, "Rockstar Games/GTA SA". Worked for me in the past.

Have you tried deleting gta_sa.set from My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files ? Most of the time this fixes my problems with GTA_SA.

Try adding it to your firewall exceptions. Or download an unistaller which will remove sa and samp from your registery. So it removes all traces of gta from your computer then reinstall it? other then that well..... Your on your own kid  ;).

Crashes are normal, you can't do jack shit about it..
Just restart your game and hope you won't crash in the next few hours/minutes :p

Crashes are normal (as stated). If it is making the game impossible to play we need more information:

1. Where it crashes
2. Computer spec's
3. Is there anything else running
4. Was it a CD purchase or steam
5. What are the intervals between crashes

Quote
I belive that this may be the amount of objects in the server.

If this was the case then a lot more people would not be able to play

Yes. SAMP isnt really compatiable with Vista, (poor portability)
Try right clicking on the SAMP icon, click Properties > Compatibility (tab) > Run this program for Windows XP service pack 2

It might work. If not, try re installing SAMP, GTA SA, The patch, or whatever. Also, as other people said it may because you have too many mods installed.

Dont tell people things you dont know about, SAMP runs fine on Vista.
