Another point I have, one time last week I'm sniping people from the building above the ships, and what do you know but a CAR and a DB-er (Swampy+FireFox or FoxHound, can't remember which Fox) somehow uses the "FREIGHT ELEVATOR" to get up there and kill me (while in their car). Talk about admin abuse. It's ridiculous and unfair.
ALTHOUGH, this really isn't a big deal, since foxhound could've just as easily gotten there with a chopper... its not really admin abuse, foxhound is just a lil lazy? 
Yes it is - could a normal player have done it? No - then it is abuse.

do warp myself up to the sniper spot, or elsewhere, but that's only if I get a report of someone cheating, and once I do get up there whoever it is normally kills me anyway once I've identified they aren't cheating
First of all FireFox, Nx Nightmare, and Nx Craze camp outside the Bank and Ammunation in North LV the whole time I was connected. By the time I am on the yellow icon to enter the building I'm dead when I get inside. Fucking admins don't do shit cause they say it is gang territory, funny thing is I'm not in a gang and wasn't starting a gang war, and FireFox, to my knowledge wasn't even in a gang to control the said territory.
Trust me on this once, that Ammunation has been a flashpoint for battles ever since the first public beta's of LVDM, before SA-MP was even released. Everyone else quickly learned that that's where most of the fighting takes place (although generally it is between clans/gangs), and therefore to go to AmmuNation's elsewhere, such as the one opposite the Red Dragon - I'd say thats where most people who simply need to buy weapons go.
Second of all, John_Walsh, paused inside Ammunation, gaining who knows how much money from his properties. Last time I did that for 15 minutes I came back to a ban signed...I guess the fucking admin didn't realize my cash increases when I was paused were from my fucking properties, though it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that shit, so I'm left perplexed because it seems the rules on LW's only apply when they benefit certain VIP's of the game.
Most of the cash cheaters we get nowadays are in AmmuNation's - they walk inside the door, and then activate the cheats to get money. Generally most of them are easy to spot as they give themselves stupendously large amounts of money, and as a result a fair few are banned by the bots.
I personally haven't been on regularly in literally years, so the few times I'm on, and if the cheating is light, I will take the time to investigate any suspicious cash before banning. In the past, however, I would have banned most people on the spot - mainly due to the large amounts of people cheating at once. When you're fed up with cheater after cheater in rapid succession, however, it does become quite tempting to ban without checking.
And of course, to avoid trouble, just don't pause with properties. Or at least let it be known in chat that you're doing something like that, and why - it'll make ban appeals much easier.
I can't comment either way on there being "VIP treatment", as that would not only be unprofessional, but I simply don't know anymore due to me not being around. There was in the extreme past, that I can admit, but that would have been such things as giving the odd bit of cash to respected Beta Tester/Developer/Very regular player who reported often/etc. If you do think there's something dodgy going on with preferential treatment, etc, then simply get in touch with a "Level 3" admin, or someone you think you can trust, etc.
Different topic now that I'm done bitching about the inadequacies of the admins and the bullshit politics of the server. I was told not to use a Game Controller, so I started to use the keyboard, my game got better. Was told to lead in order for my bullets to register, once again my game improved a bit. But what I wanna know is how some of you people "lead" when we are in closed quarters and running around each other in circles unloading innumerable clips into "each other". Seems to me that would be really fucking difficult and yet I seem to take loads of damage while my opponent takes jackshit. It doesn't make sense. Go ahead call me a nub, feel better?
I used a game controller from the early days of MTA:VC right up to around the release of SA-MP 0.2. The games simply aren't advanced enough to use the controllers, mainly because they were developed and tested (except for me) with keyboards and mice. I managed to go through about 1 1/2 years of testing of SA:MP barely killing anyone, and soon as I started using a mouse - zing!
Although I can only speak for myself, and not any other person on the team (especially saying I haven't been around at all in years), I value well thought out complaints, such as your own (not the garbage that always comes in). Again, my comments would be very from official viewpoints, but I hope I've done something to re-establish your trust in the server, and if you do have strong complaints, don't hesitate to contact Popz, etc.
