Nobody is really wanting to be in charge of the event', without a person who wants to spend some time organizing.. there's no event possible

I would like to, but i know its going to turn out horribly with people who cant fight against each others because of time zones, inactivity and so on..Just look at The Beatdown, it all looks  perfect, and still it didnt work out too good.

I know from experience, how hard organizing things are. Especially LW Events... There's alot of things to do to make it work. 9 out of 10 times you can just see how it will end up just by looking at the startpost.. So I suggest, if there's going to be an event, just don't post an idea here. Work it out, ask others to help you (not through forums ofcourse, cause it looks unprofessional).
It's not just about coming up with the idea. You have to make it appealing to others, to make them want to join. You have think of rules, any possible scenario, how it could go wrong, regulations...
There's no way it's going to work when you just say " Hey I wanna do this event like so who want to organize it?"
