And ive ALWAYS played in the little whiteys server..(Under a few nicks.)

Theres a down side to this server...

Tell me how to apply for admin ill moderate your server!

As I've already said in recent posts on this forum, the admins are on the #littlewhitey.mtarace IRC channel at the irc.gtanet.com server. You can report cheaters there.

"all the stats" isn't very precise. If you think that a record has been set by a cheater, report the map and nick either here or on IRC.

I dont want to hurt anyone or be demanding, but isnt it better if theres just an admin ingame instead of always alt+tabbing to get on mIRC, wait for an admin, report it and shit. I dont know if the IRC channel is connected with the server itself, but a !beep command (so admins on IRC would hear a ''beep'' :p) would be usefull if possible, i guess.


Also, i guess not even many MTA players have mIRC or dont know what it is.

I know the problem, if you see a toptime that might be done by a cheater pm me or let it know on irc.
And yes we have always had an irc echo, it was very handy however it can't be done in mta1.0 on linux unless someone is willing to write a module for us...

I've seen just 2 or 3 cheater top times. Not many of them as for now.

Not all, I can assure you I've raced against people setting quite a few of those top times and have never seen them cheat.

But I hear what you say about the hackers trying to ruin the game; I usually join in vote-kicking them, or maybe suggest they're being filmed. If all else fails I just leave them to get bored of their own company. I haven't seen that many in recent weeks.

Right after the first post in this topic I checked the record database and there aren't many cheater toptimes indeed I found like 2 or 3. If you find any report them, we'll delete them. And for the cheater problem: votekick them or contact the admins, as for now I'm working on a socket module to get an irc bot, won't be for any time soon though as I'm new to C++.

Just about all of the top times are by people we know,
One thing i have noticed about mta 1.0 is that there are a lot of slow drivers on it, cant drive for shit,
 and then they say "Your Cheating" and some real bad laggers too Come on its 2010 get that commodore 64 upgraded and broadband too, not dial up

yeah, low fps makes them slower and thus makes you a cheater.
I vote for both options.

Also: vote kicking a cheater does nothing since he can re-join. Can a temporary ban be included?

Why not just hire new admins that are ACTIVE ingame and trusted.
like dominator said its better having admins ingame.

There are very little players that are both often online and trusted, I think elof is the most active one and he already is admin I think an anticheat script will be necessary.
