and yes the poll might be affected because i hate rustler naps so hard. but its funny how nobody voted for 'im a rustler tard [...]' 
There's been many interesting ideas brought up in regards to the rustler 'issue'... It's funny that the most effective/opposed solution (virtual worlds) is the easiest to implement.
From a technical standpoint, when comparing this to other suggestions, it would take longer to implement, would use a little extra memory and add more complications to the code (simpler code is better code -- easier to work with, faster usually.) The positive side to this implementation is that it's a start to fixing another bug in regards to vehicle locking, although I believe that was worked around in my scripting absence.
From a personal standpoint, I don't like the idea too much. It's a freeroam server at heart, I don't play on the server to be hardcore deathmatching (cause I'm a dirty stinkin' lagger!), I play to have fun. If I'm flying a rustler I don't want to be forced out of it, that'd just be frustrating.
This idea would punish the innocent, there are people who fly rustlers and would like nothing to do with your race. You can argue that not many people would be effected, but an innocent person is an innocent person. I'd lean toward solutions that have no adverse effect on anybody if possible. I understand the opposition towards this idea, it seems at the end of the day it's going to have to be a choice of the lesser of the 'evils' (server politics, damnit!)
