When money wasn't saving and it was more important, regulars instead of looking for easy kills to improve stats, were looking for rich ppl. Of course it wasn't that beatiful, newbies still were getting owned when for example a regular met them on the ship, but regular needed money just like the newbie so it was a bit different. And no, I don't want to start the shit about removing bank saving again, I've already accepted that this idea was rejected. But there are other things to control the dm. We've got clans that don't fight each other, because they get no profit from it, they can shoot newbies instead.
This is why I said that the gang system should be expanded. Expended as fuck, I'm already working on some system that will make being in gang a really cool feature, I will suggest it soon.
And I hope that LW's will always be more dm than RP. I mean that I can kill whoever I want to, whenever I want. The only thing that limits me is the question: will killing this guy be profitable for me, or will I just for example start a war that my gang wouldn't be able to win?
