The Rules=
Like the Duellist Championship 2008 and 2009, same rules, but with a few additions.
-"First to 6" rule. Win 6 duels and you go through to next round.
-Weapons you must agree on, before battle. You can select any combination of weapons (2 maximum per person per duel) amongst following weapons: shotgun, deagle, mp5, m4, AK47, sniper, sawnoff, tec9.
-If you don''t come to an agreement prior to match, you must take turns in deciding which weps to use.
-If neither of the duellists wish to let the other choose their weapons first, a trial round will be defined by a referee with weapons of the latter's choice, and the winner will then say who chooses weapons first.
-All duels must be monitored by a referee that has been appointed "Duellist Official". If you wish to apply for this role, please do so here
-Respect the time deadline. Make sure you add your opponent to your msn/xfire etc. Failure to complete a duel within time limits will result in disqualification of either both or one of duellists. If one proves by posting in SAMPDUELLISTS.U-CLAN.COM for duel preparation that he has done his/her best to get the duel done, then they can go through to next round, or the disqualified player will be quickly replaced by a substitute.
-Duellists must be equipped with fraps or any means of filming. If asked by a Duellist Official to film a round, they must do so. Failure to comply means disqualification. A round may be done again if a referee deems it necessary, with fraps on.
-After your duels, edit your first duel preparation post by adding result, Screenshots, video link if any, server info and weapons used.
-Internet connection speed must be stated when you sign up. An official may ask you for a "quality test", just to make sure your game is ok, and to keep in mind how your game was compared to future duels.
-Avoid any ridiculous, childish arguments. Be respectful. Terminate your enemy in style, but with dignity. If you have any reason to complain, do so in forums, with video proof of any foul play. If you notice genuine extreme warping, lag of the opponent, you may ask the officials to demand game frapsing, and possibly a round rematch.
-Toggling, general hacking, abusive modding, or drastic pathetic attempts to win a match like by quitting before death, are forbidden. Do not run programs to make your ping waver. Insufficient inernet connections that waver and produce warping effects effecting hitboxes will be considered as a reason to disqualify.
-You MUST take screenshots of your game before the first duel and after last, and upload them.
Make sure when signing up that the rules have been fully understood, that your internet and pc are good enough to preserve a high standard of gameplay, and that you'll be active enough from now on to complete your duels in time before each deadline.
Each round should take maximum 2 weeks, which should allow all duellists to find the time to contact their opponents and get the shooting done. Any case of inactivity, foul play, will be dealt with, and substitutes from the extra 64 player list will be added.
Good luck, and Respect your opponents!
