Afaik, Samp can't be installed on the Steam version of San Andreas.
Scott i dont care whats ethical and good for the pc-game companys, and after i saw gta4 and thousand problems with it i will not pay 1 cent for Rockstargames.
Take what you can get and give nothing back
if everyone had this attitude there would be no games at all
Well, both of you are partially right: it's true that game developing companies need to earn money from their games to keep developing new ones, but it's also true that when they released GTA IV for PC, at least at the beginning they were selling a bad optimized game which was full of bugs. If you pay for any product, the least that you can demand is that it works!! otherwise, they are SWINDLING you, and therefore the one who pirates is just giving them their own medicine back.
But not only that: they also tweaked its multiplayer mode so if you sell/buy the game second hand, you won't be able to play it online anymore!! (which also implies that you can't rent it either). Until now, for those who think that brand new games are too expensive, second hand was the only legal option that didn't imply piracy. Now, if they just destroy that only option left (and if besides it was such a bad programmed game), then the only thing that they deserve is to have all their games pirated and pirated and pirated until the end, for them to learn the lesson.
So in summary: GTA San Andreas is a buyable game, but GTA IV (at least at the beginning) is not.
