My bug is it disapeared in the ranks site too, not the cloud unavailable thing, just completely gone for a good 15 hours

Anyways im going to wait until i get my ps3, by then these problems should hopefully be fixed, hate having to wait for shit to work

losing cash while dying in missions was fixed.

 its great that ppl dont know how to set their spawn point i got a few sniper kills last night one guy let out a "what the fuck" down the mic

All I did was quitting races and joining a new one when I was hopelessly far behind, simply to gain EXP faster. Now I have to run around with a donkey mask on my head XD

Just what the hell is rockstars thinking? This is insane. You get punished for killing NPCs in GTA. Seriously they couldn’t have done anything worse than bullshit like this.
Just check one of the dunce cap topics on the internet. Childs are crying like little babys that their personal vehicles are destroyed by other players and they are HAILING R* for punishing those "evil griefers".

even though the car is insured and they get it back for peanuts. You get punished for fighting other players in free roam oO
You are not allowed to use sticky bombs on other players cars even though those are unlockable in multiplayer.

All that I find out AFTER receiving the cap. No warnings, nothing. Well... I thought there must be something wrong with this game. It was just going too smoothly. They are protecting the childs who play their 18+ game. Brilliant.

Is it safe to kill players with bounty's without getting a bad reputation?

If you kill them only once for the bounty it should be okay.. but dont try to spawn kill them after and dont use sticky bombs or snipers just to be sure...

guys just some wise words of advice:

I lost my character 3 times now, it appeared as level 1 again. the instant that happened i always turned my PS3 off and tried again 10 minutes later. It always fixed it.


If you get to the online character selection window (the menu with the 4 character slots and blue background which is not supposed to show up when entering online mode normally) DO NEVER log into your account if it is listed as "Level 1". just turn the console off.

but i saw a level 54 guy today.. omg...


Edit: One more thing: Do never buy anything expensive in solo-multiplayer if the normal multiplayer is broken. the game tends to forget about what you do in this mode...

Rockstars is now writing exactly the same thing in the online loading screen

What about the other way around? For example if you have a bounty on you, you can't defend yourself with a firearm without being considered a "bad sport"?

well hanney.. i am facing the same problem. i have NO IDEA what increases or decreases that sportmanship ranking. confirmed decreasments are:

kill same person over and over again
kill using lame weapons over and over again
blow others private vehicles up over and over again
steal their mission vehciles over and over again
quit missions when you stand no chance of winning over and over again

more i dont know....... no idea if a bounty affects it.

btw with the dunce cap you meet all the glitcher and cheater fuckheads... met a level 153 guy just now....... GTAFAN314...

This bad sport shit is really beyond a joke. Its a free-roam with weapons for gods sake. There's even a passive mode you can use if you don't want to kill others or be killed.
