[...] And the Souls of Mischief - "From 93 Til Infinity" is a real good song, thanks for that tip. [...]
There has to be a reason when i call it BEST Hip Hop tune to be made so far. :P

Soulwax * E-talking Cool Video! V3 , u got to see it!
Lol, already know that video. I love it! :)
Worst thing is: after watching it i got this bad urge to throw some of these colored pills. :-X ;D
2:21 - 2:24 <3 ;) ;D :D
After all, it looks like a really decent party these people have there!

Henry Rollins - Liar
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZWf1HYlKfG4
Classic. Rollins appearance kinda always impressed me. :)

Btw SUPERBAD: i agree with DocMex on the 2 Live Crew. Shabby lyrics without much sense. Just not my kind of Hip Hop. :P

[...] taj mahal_ leaving trunk

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEiftJI_Hd0

i know these guys Underling

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqOFAz4eZ-M

Blink 182_ I miss you

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYEM68HIm0Y
Chilling. Nice tracks Boon. Same goes for Bowie, Palmer & Supertramp. Nice taste of music you got there. :)
I usually sing along with the Blink 182 song ("Hello there... angels from my nightmare..."). :)

U2 - With or without you
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=yEfSnjL0pd8
You can't fail with U2. <3

2 more brilliant songs by them:
U2 - "Sunday Bloody Sunday" (btw: there's a kickass cover version of this track out there by a band which i currently forgot the name of.. but imo it's almost better then the original.. what is almost impossible tho.. bug me and i try to find that cover version somewhere if your interested)
U2 - "Beautiful Day" (i remember when they played this at  the SuperBowl Halftime show few years ago.. goosebumps!!)

@ DoctorMexico: nice selection you got there.
"Hurt" by Cash is a timeless classic. I never heard that Stones song before but had goosebumps after 10 seconds already. :o
Prodigy & Depeche Mode.. no words needed.
I never liked The Cure when i was a kid for some reason. Now i know what great music they have made back in time (i got their Best Of Album and like almost every single song of it).

Tal Bachman is still a (quite popular) catchy tune.
Another 2 catchy guitar tunes from the good old 90's:
Semisonic - "Closing Time"
Deep Blue Something - "Breakfast At Tiffany's"

Dave Brubeck - Take Five
Honest to god, there is no one on earth who hasnt heard that song somewhere. Its a classic jazz song with an unforgetable saxophone melody.
I know a house version of this track. :o Maybe you like:
St. Germain - "Rose Rouge"

Nice to see you at least on the forums yet DocMex. :)

Peter Auty - Walking In The Air
http://youtube.com/watch?v=aR1Ln-ctn5E
1st of all: kinda lol isn't it? :P
2nd: i really like it for some reason! oO
3rd: it sounds very familiar to me. Do i maybe know this song from some children television (winnie the poo or some other very old series which i forgot the name of)?

By the way.. my favorite Track from a children fairy-tale movie (anyone remembers this? i think i miss the 80's lol):
Main Theme from "Neverending Story"

Some of you people mentioned some classic tracks (like Bach etc.). Seriously ladies.. how the green hell could you forgot this (my fave classic track)??:
Ravel - "Bolero"

Another "modern" Rock song you really should know in my opinion:
Death In Vegas feat. Liam Gallagher - "Scorpio Rising"
(Gallagher has just one awesome voice! No need to mention that Oasis's "(What's The Story) Morning Glory" has been one of the best rock albums to be ever made!)

Another few classics that just dont need an introduction. Good old times!! <3
Guns 'N' Roses - "Sweet Chield Of Mine"
REM - "Man On The Moon"
Kansas - "Dust In The Wind"
Gerry Rafferty - "Baker Street" <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Edit: never ever (ever ever) listen to the cover version Foo Fighters did for "Baker Street". I mean, i like the Foo Fighters and all (i really do.. got some of their cd's here.. great band), but they really messed that milestone of music history.

For SUPERBAD and kenny01(and all the other Junglists out there).. some more Drum 'n' Bass (bit more dark and technoid then High Contrast this time).. again: great for clubbing / partying / dancing!:
Paul B. - "Euphoria VIP"
Paul B. & Subwave - "What You Want"
* [V3loc1Ty] raves til dawn

Last but not least.. for the good mood:
The Blues Brothers - "Everybody Need Somebody"

more later

PS: yes, i like long posts. And yes, both of us know YOU like to read 'em. :-*

You're very welcome Oogor. Actually i thought the same when i saw those Timberlake links (sure some of his songs been good, but after all, it's nothing more then above-average mainstream charts stuff imo).

About that "Snowman" song.. well, i think it got used a few times in a very old children "comic" series (which i forgot the name of). Back in the days when children tv tried to teach something yet.

I love dust in the wind ! i was just listening to it again the other day, such a classic. Good music tastes you have v3 !
One of my faveorite "oldies" for sure! And thankies. :)

Ps: Please don't make me listen to Nightwish again. :-X :P

yeah V3 this Paul B - Euphoria VIP tune is fantastic. Often heard it on D`N`B Parties! This one really rocks. Thank you,  now I know how its called. I like Gerry Rafferty - "Baker Street" too but I diss the video. "death in vegas" r really cool, I like their fabric mix and the older albums. Exspecially the one with scorpio rising.

Does nobody unless me like 2 live crew? Not even the "face down, ass up, thats the way we like to fuck..." song?

some metal rap or what its called but I like this band:
(hed) p.e. - Ground
(hed) p.e. - Suffa
(hed) p.e. represent
(hed) p.e. - The Meadow

Blackalicious
Blackalicious' Alphabet Aerobics
Blackalicious - Deception

Some Djs shit :
birdy nam nam's phone game - crazy b jazzy guitar set
Birdy Nam Nam - Absesses
mixmaster mike-Scratch - All The Way Live
DJ Q-Bert & D-Styles: Razorblade Alcohole Slide

Both very nice songs Santino!
The 2nd one reminded me of my fave rock band a lot.. The Smashing Pumpkins (will dedicate another post only for them later :)). Maybe you'll like some of it.

Meh.. couldn't let you get away with at least an appetizer (of one of the greatest rock bands the world has seen):
Smashing Pumpkins - "Perfect"
I really had a hard time to pick one specific song, cause they cover such a wide range with their style and their sound changed a bit over the years (for "Perfect" they used a drum machine for example as you can hear, because the drummer was like "suspended" at this time). Anyways.. not my favorite song but definitely one of their truly best (gawd i love those distorted guitars and synthi sounds.. one of their trademarks).

Edit: yeah, i got stuck with listening to Pumpkins now for more then a hour. :D
So, due to the fact i'm in such a good mood right now.. here's another one (early Pumpkins around '93):
Smashing Pumpkins - "Rocket"
Turn up your volume and bass. :)
As i said.. their sound covers a wide range. Rock at it's fucking best!!

[...]
Blackalicious
Blackalicious' Alphabet Aerobics
Blackalicious - Deception

Some Djs shit :
[...]
Birdy Nam Nam - Absesses
mixmaster mike-Scratch - All The Way Live
[...]
Blackalicious: just had a decent smoke while listening to those the other day. "Alphabet Aerobics" was quite unique and amazing at the same time. :)

Djs shit: wow. Both just brilliant in their own ways! Nice finds.

Todays dose of Drum 'n' Bass:
Black Sun Empire - "Breathe [Dance4life remix]" (Sick sick tune which i just found actually.. thought i'd share.)
Black Sun Empire - "Arrakis" (Darkest techstep.. take the pills out. )

next post.. germanys finest (hiphop, rock, pop)

WHAT THE GREEN HELL?

Excerpt from the Youtube description:
"This is possibly the most disturbing thing I've seen on the Interweb. I'm sorry for inflicting this upon all of you."
You should definitely add this to your post Rizella to warn faint-hearted people and children!

By the way: type "naked horse guy" into Youtube search much eh? :D Sicko. :P

SUPERBAD, if you're into Squarepusher maybe take a look at some of Aphex Twins' music.

Here are a good few I listen to regularly:

Aphex Twin - Windowlicker
Aphex Twin - Donkey Rhubarb
Aphex Twin - Vordhosbn (not official video)

Aphex Twin goes under other names too, such as AFX, Polygon Window ect.

Most of the videos on YouTube for Aphex Twin songs aren't official, mainly because most of his songs don't have official videos.
