Candie Hank: entertaining "interview" that was.
Even tho I never heard of him yet (cause the "psychatrist" said he's like a legend in Berlin). The music is verrrrry experimental I'd say, lol. But "Booty Bank" been kinda cool.
Puppetmastaz: holy cow.. I didn't know Yoda was able to kick rhymes like that hehe. Cool stuff. "Say P mother******!".
That whole "puppet-thing" kinda reminded me of
Gorillaz - "Feels Good" live (been some live performance at some MTV award show if I remember right). No need to mention that the Gorillaz totally pwn I guess (d'oh.. I'm afraid I just mentioned it.. meh).
Peeping Tom: very nice song. Great beat/hookline.
David McCallum - "The Edge": sweet coverversion!
All that HipHop stuff you posted: it seems we pretty much like the same kind of chilled, old school, laid back HipHop. This is so much better then all that stereotype Eminem, 50cent (whatever.. you name 'em) gangsta bullcrap you get served nowadays. Or maybe we're just starting to be in that kind of age, where you praise all the good old stuff and dislike the actual "trendy" music. Who knows.
Filter: for fooks sake.. LOL! SUPERBAD once again.. I love you. First thing coming to my mind when reading Filter was like "Hmm.. Filter.. I remember that name.. they had that one song I really liked pretty much.". Now.. guess which song I was thinking about (without reminding the title of it). Exactly: "Welcome to the Fold".
(you only have to ignore the lyrics strictly.. cause they suck so much it's funny already
)
Great stuff.. goosebumps and all.. didn't hear it in ages. Thanks for posting it tho.
(Sidenote: gawd, the leadsinger looks way too friendly for a rockband in these videos lol!!)
Sepultura - "Ratamahatta": that's a repost nub. Have a look
here. Anyways: brilliant choice.. one of the coolest / most intense rocksongs I know.
I don't like Metallica much either (besides a few tracks..
"One" coming to my mind first).
The Fugees been great indeed. Even tho it's a shame they split up at some part, BUT Wyclef Jean's debut-solo-album (The Carnival) was simply amazing. Probly the most popular / succesful song from The Carnival:
Wyclef Jean - "Guantanamera"My 2 Fugees faves from The Score album:
Fugees - "Zealots"Fugees - "Cowboys"Nas feat. The Firm - "Affirmative Action" (I love the beat)
Korn - "Blame" (one of my favorite Korn tracks)
@ SUPERBAD (sonst liest den thread hier ja eh keiner glaubsch
): I know you're still waiting for the best of german music megapost but it will be worth it (at least I hope so
).
Don't ask why most of my posts look like whole books please. Seems to be some kind of wack addiction.
