Good Mediaplayer for movies?
« on: January 10, 2013, 10:52:38 AM »
Hey, like in the title, I'm curious, what media player do you use? I always used allplayer, but now I'm having more and more troubles with it - win8 media player can play almost anything that Allplayer can't, and it doesn't ask for any libraries and stuff, but at the same time it doesn't display subtitles... Is there any other good media player? ;p

I'm using BSPlayer , VLC Media Player, CyberLink PowerDVD ....  ;D ;D

BSPlayer downloads automatically subtitles when you open the movie :)

I've been using Media Player Classic since years and never had problems with it, it plays any common formats and also many uncommon ones, at least it played everything i ever had, like even such things as .3gp, .flv and .mkv. It is completely free. The only problem i ever perceived was that one should not change anything of the standard settings in the installation without fully researching wtf he's doin beforehand. Also on very weak machines like netbooks it might be better to use the normal Windows Media player for videos >= 1080p.

Windows Media Player comes with a sweet Windows Media Player Codec Pack, so it's definately Windows Media Player.

Yet he has decided to reply normally.

Windows media player classic.
It comes with the K-lite Codec pack. Like the rest above me said.
It playes every single file including audio. Never had any problem with it and it works on all movies that you may or may not have downloaded.
