[R]EnzoMortelli presents:
Why?
The Self-organizing Event came to my mind as an solution to the current playercount situation.
We have very few trustable regulars that make events actual fun, and those do not normally join at the same time.
Instead, the server is mainly crowded with newbies, unknowns and non-english speaking players.
As a result, it has become very hard to hit the right time, player base and mood to succesfully host an event.
So another way of making events was needed.
What is it?
The Self-Organizing Event in the current form is basically a big open beta test of a new event idea.
Base of everything is a vehicle derby in an enclosed area with especially spawned vehicles for that purpose.
In the main idea, these vehicles are accesible by all players 24/7, and should not be moved away from the area.
People can simply group together, travel to the arena and utilize the vehicles for free derbies whenever they want to.
| Predator Derby Predators are the first vehicles available for this event. These police boats are equiped with mounted double m4's and should do a decent job for a challenging derby. 20 of them have been placed on two spawns in the Sherman Reservoir, marked on the map below. Feel free to have fun with them!

Original Crash Derby The most classic of all events: several cars and a rooftop is all it needs for the fun. 24 cars of different types have been placed on a roof in Little Mexico, Los Santos for flatout smashing fun. Pedal to the metal! (Note these will only be available until the next server restart!)

| Enforcer Soccer On the Motorbike School grounds west of LV International Airport you can find 14 Enforcers and one Sweeper. Think of the Enforcers as soccer players and of the Sweeper as the ball, and you have Enforcer Soccer. Or just ignore the Sweeper and do an Enforcer derby! It's up to you. (Note: Get in the driver seat of the Sweeper before the match. If it get's destroyed it won't respawn if there was no driver in it before!)

And further?
We'll watch how this works out, and if the concept seems succesful we'll look out for more areas, vehicles and maybe other/new event modes. Stay tuned.
