I'd like to suggest also a food system, so you have to eat sometimes or you will die.
And people should be forced to /sleep for at least 6 minutes every three days or they will also die.

Also we should get taxes from bank money and income, and when someone dies they should pay a hospital fee.
Also you'd need a weapon license to buy weapons, and you have to take a driving test before being able to enter any car.

Why don't we also add rentable rooms and a /sex cmd?

Anyway this is my FINAL FINAL Like.. Thing.

About the personal Vehicles: Like if you buy a house (This will ALL go together) You will have a garage there right? So it will detect the garage and you can have a personal vehicle there. Now personal vehicle doesnt really have a point if it just spawns in the garage. it means that you just have to go to your garage every time you want to take your personal vehicle, i think it should have like certain spawn places like if you're near a personal vehicle spawn place then your car spawns there. Now i was thinking that every player can have like 2-3 houses maximum. Just a suggestion.

i suggest that we add a factions, like LVPD and LVFD, and the admins recruit us, and there is a life recruitment every week, maximum cars i must have is 3, when i enter or play i have Claude Skin, i must not fight or kill anyone, or i'll lose xp, i suggest to that we must have /newb command to help newbies!
What about if we have Hungry System, and we add Locker to put our clothes and change it there, and we can rob a bank or rob a store with aiming on them, and we can add ALienBots come and rob our brain, and delete the clans and make them Gangs or you know what??? we just WE JUST DELETE LW SCRIPT AND GET RP SCRIPT

what kind of mens are u?

and about Personal Vehicle, NO, i like robbing cars.

Here's my two cents.

Role-playing servers attract thousands of players. Old-school death-match servers like ours attract fifteen unpaused, actual players on a good day. Clearly there is a reason behind their decision of which server to play in. You and I may hate everything about role-playing servers, but obviously the large majority of SA-MP users prefer role-playing aspects; we need to accept reality. We want those players to play in our server.

How do we attract them? Compromise. How do we make them regulars? Kick ass donator features. Integrate minor role-playing features, and make some of them exclusive to donators. Personal garages may be a technical limitation of a decade old game engine, but personalized vehicles (vanity license plates, neon paint, low-rider wheels on an Elegy, etc) are ideas that may not have a huge impact if vehicles can't be saved. Perhaps there's a public parking garage somewhere that allows donators to park and /store their vehicles.

We can already /hold and give our character cool stuff to wear. Why can't we do that on our vehicles? Sumo server has under-body neon on some vehicles. UIF allows players to attach objects to their cars (push-bars, horns, fences - whatever). Crazy Bob's has vanity license plates.

The ideas are right in front of us, but we're too stuck in our ways. Reluctance to change is what's killing us!

I fully agree to enkei.

There are roleplay elements which are very interesting, yes, even in a deathmatch server.

Of course there are others, which are simply a total no-go (like spawn-able vehicles).

But being so fucking stubborn to hate ANYTHING that even gets CLOSE to any RP feature is very retarded. The new property system is much more RP than the old one, you know?

If some one cames name BluNub and came and suggest a stupid suggest, would u like this suggestion, and i excepted that if we take this suggestion in lw script NO ONE WILL LIKE IT, and i love lws very much, and i dont want it to change so i think that the admins and managments make a poll and they vote  :-X

PlaYa, the deathmatch experience will still stay there. Just mixing a little bit of RP into it and it will have more people and more fun.

And i also think that we should let the server admins decide :)

LWs is a DM server and when we say we want more players we don't mean we want more rp-players or more players-of-anything but what we really mean is that we want more deathmatchers and fighters.

Although the situation might look dire for impatient people amongst us, there is no need to sacrifice our core spirit, the original LW feeling and our interpretation of death match for the sake of having more retards than we have now already.
I'm of the opinion that it's insufficient to only rely on the average number of players to measure a server's success. We have many regular players that have spent years of their lives on this server, in which time other games were created, published, played, then died and were forgotten.
I think as the first sa-mp server ever we have the obligation to reflect our tradition and stay true to our roots. Of course we could and propably also should incorporate advancements, but we should always make sure to not just copy whatever anyone else uses and end up as partyserver, with a lot of players and a miserable quality of the community, but instead we should find our very own approaches to new inventions always strongly based on our traditional core.



Apart from all the above, what Spitfire said goes. There is a reason suggestions board was closed, and if you have suggestions they should go to LW's redmine at dev.littlewhiteys.co.uk.
Furthermore, suggestions are cool and stuff, but what we should focus on in the moment is the organisation of development and urgent bugfixes in the current version before we can think about new additions. Let's just make v2.9 perfect before we commence with progression.

Staying true to our roots is noble, but realism is logical. I'm saying we should develop a hybrid that attracts players with varying desires. It's true, we'd prefer to attract people looking fore a pure death-match, which is what we used to do. But, if you look at other servers and how many awesome features they've implemented, players are going to veer in that direction as opposed to a run 'n gun server stuck in 2010. Also, how many players out there seek purely death-match game play that haven't already become a part of our community? We also need to understand that this game is played primarily by Russians. So, the role-playing servers with 900 players at any given time of day may have earned their merit based on the native language alone.

Agreed though, this suggestion shouldn't even be here.
