Hello, and welcome to a fun event of Littlewhitey's, called
Kill The Boss
This event was originally made by
Abdi almost one year ago, but since his inactivity, this event was never run again after only a few tries and tests. Days ago, this wonderful event was revived by yours truly,
[EAF]King, in hopes of bringing fun and enthusiasm for the players of LW:VCMP. I revised some of the mechanics and rules, and those revisions (which will be listed below) are still on test, and also, debatable.
Here are the mechanics/rules:
1. This event usually consists of many players. One player would be the
Boss, some would be his/her
defenders to protect him (depends if the Boss wants to specifically pick or if there are players who would like to defend the boss). To avoid friendly fire, they must pick one team color. (depending which skin)
2. The team of the Boss will pick a specific area of their choosing as their base, in which the Boss should be protected in that area. If the Boss leaves the specific area to flee against the attackers, the event is cancelled. (e.g., if your base is Prawn Mansion and the Boss tries to run away from the base, the event is cancelled)
3. The Boss's team must
NOT pick a base that is the spawn point of their team color.
4. The attackers do not really need a specific team to call themselves as "attackers" or "attacking team".
5. The Boss's bodyguards must defend the Boss within a period of time. The default time is 10 minutes, but can be lengthened under some circumstances, usually regarding player numbers or 'team strength'.x The attackers, therefore, need to kill the Boss within that period of time.
*6. The defenders who were killed while protecting the Boss will not be able to come back as defender. (This was the original rule.)
*7. If one instance of this event has rewards, these are the default rewards: $2,000 for killing a defender (can be changed) and $1,000,000 goes to the killer of the Boss.
8. If a specific base has a rather very narrow entryway, blocking the entrance(s) is
STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
9. If the Boss and his/her team is under attack while still preparing, the event will be delayed. If players are still persistent in attacking the Boss's team while under preparation and before the event starts will result either the event being cancelled or the specific harrassing player(s) will be warned, and the next would be a kick for interrupting the preparation of the event.
10. If the Boss gets team-killed in the middle of the event, it will count as a loss on the defenders. The host then will decide if it is to be restarted or cancelled, depending on the current situation. For example, if the Boss was teamkilled right at the start, the event will usually be restarted.
* - To be discussed:6. This was the original rule, because before, there were rewards for killing the defenders. These recent tests, I tried revising the rule down to this: The defenders can go back and defend their boss, provided that the base they chose was far enough from their spawn point of their skin/team color. This is still debatable.
7. If we implement the original rule of #6, the reward system for killing the defenders will be maintained. Otherwise, only the Boss has a cash bounty, and as a result, the defenders MAY be allowed to go back (upon the settlement of the #6 rule).
An extra sub-event includes
"Escort the Boss", where the defenders need to protect and escort the Boss from one place to another by either walking (default) or by using cars (if agreed, but if and only if the place is too far, plus I strongly do not recommend this, to increase the tension, fun, and of course, hilarity
