Phone's battery draining
« on: September 24, 2015, 03:41:25 AM »
ED4HS first of all welcome you here.
Secondly, I am seeking some help and didn't find solution yet. I've Galaxy Tab A with a strong battery power. From last 3 days, my phone, after charging upto 94, immediately reaches to 100 and said, "Battery fully charged". When I unplug charger, it comes back to 94%. Last night, battery got fully charged but it reached from 100 to 94 in less than a minute. Can anyome tell me the appropriate solution?

It doesn't matter if I've to buy a new battery. I've a job :D but I wish if I can get rid of this problem because this one's an original battery.

My grandmother bought a Galaxy Tab for me from Singapore. The same thing was happening to me. So I gave it to repair. It was then I found out that some guy had actually given my Grandmother a fake tab. Maybe you need to give it to the repair and ask if it's original.

Or either your battery has gone crazy.

I got TAB free from Telecommunication Company where I work. So I believe that it's completely original. I got a Warranty Card. Should I send it for repair to local shop or directly to Samsung?

I recommend to go to an official store rather than the local store, who knows what those people might do.

Directly to Samsung dude, it's the best choice. If u send it to a local repair shop, they might void ur warranty.

1. Let your phone discharge until it goes off due to low battery.
2. Charge your battery until it reads 100%. Do not turn on your device while charging!
3. Unplug your charger and turn your phone on.
4. Leave it lying for 30 minutes then charge it again for an hour. Don’t use your device while it is plugged in.
5. Unplug your device and use normally until the battery is completely drained again.
6. Then charge it to 100% again.

If this doesn't help then you must take your tab to Service Centre.

Thanks everyone for help. Instead of using some tactics. I've just sent my phone on warranty. They said if there will be problem in battery, they'll give you a new TAB :D What else I want?
