How to fix gta-vc.exe stopeed working

Sorry i can't make a video for now i will make it after 2 hours or later because my video recorder not working correctly

for now this:
1st use this one:
Go to gta-vc.exe properties<Compatibility(tab)<Change setting for all users<select Windows XP service pack 2/3(Compatibility mode)<Apply<OK(if this not work then tr other one)


2nd this:
Go to Computer properties<Advanced system settings<Advanced(tab)<Performance<Settings<Data Execution Prevention<Turn on DEP<Click Add<Locate gta-vc.exe<Apply!(You must need to restart your PC after doing this one before restart it will not work)

Neither of these two solutions worked me

gta-vc.exe stopped working is the most unhelpful and generic problem ever. You need to give us more details,

when does it crash? can you repeat the crash?
where does it crash?
how long ago did it start crashing?
have you got any mods installed?
did you recently change any drivers/pc recently?
what version of vice city are you using? (steam/crack/rip)

This error started out when removing two mods a month and a half

If it's mods then they may not be properly removed, or maybe some of the original files are missing? Are you even able to start the game at all? If not best solution is to reinstall the game.

Reinstall GTA VC in other folder, that may fix your crash

I am sure you using these both at same time.


Turn off DEP(2nd option)then restart your PC then start gta.

If that not work then turn off compatibility mode(1st option)No need restart(don't forgot to apply it)

After that again turn on DEP(2nd option) then restart PC  then try to start gta.

Best solution if these not work i can fix it via team viewer if you want then pm me(but first try these solutions)

if ur vcmp works properly , so i can suggest u to reinstall windows it will fix

Its not VCMP problem  this problem is with  Vice city single player.

just delete the whole Grand Theft Auto Vice City folder and vc-mp folders in appdata and reinstall them both.

Ok now i make a video i hope it will help you( I am not good in video recording/editing but i try my best to make it)

Must watch both video(its same i can't add both  in  one becuz my recorder not working correctly)

i know plz read my replay properly. i had this problem that vcmp works but vc stopped working
