me too, and newly installed vc. all folders clean.

Remove any unnecessary .asi or .dll(this include ddraw/dinput/d3d8) files from the game root folder except the mss32.dll file, unless it has been modified or whatsoever.

i got steam version, unmodified, even verify game files still cant join
