Go for it man! At first you might feel a bit frustrated since the progress is probably pretty slow and you'd want to be playing these fast rolls and fills and all, but once you get past this certain point you notice you're taking bigger and bigger steps and it gets very rewarding. If you choose to start I'm happy to share some tutorial links that have helped me personally.
