..i e-mailed rockstar's social club support asking why i couldn't access some parts of it
...and still they're not yet replying

It seems that rockstar does not care about pc version anymore and i doubt that they will release another patch.

Yeah, the PC version quite literally dropped the ball on this release. It came out as a peice of crap only to be forgotten. I tried contacting Rockstar support myself to find some lag fixes because I MEET ALL THE RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS and still rarely see 15 frames per second, and I still haven't gotten a single reply either.

i can run my pc in high texture and render with a large view distance tho its in 800x600 :/ and it gets to 15
when i made my textures lower nothing affects it. but when i increase the resolution in 1680x1050 i have 3 fps lol but in the lowest i only get 15 like fox

EDIT: wtf there's an update for GTA IV? why is my gfw client even downloading even though there's no patch........ must be a bug in my client and redownloaded it and still dosen't work. damn

you mean my computer specs? if you want to know i got a 3 ghz processor, a 4gb ram, a 1 gb gfx card, and a crappy 72 gb harddisk

actually it won't run on anyones. Since it is a direct port for a tri-core and it would run best on a 4ghz quad or something, we're all fucked. Rockstar failed. Miserably.

gta4 just arrived today... for xbox

i figured i'd skip all this crap about it not working and running at like 0.0001 fps and just get it for a console.

im sorta half way between minimum and recommended, meaning it would work, but since its gta4 it wont work at all
