Keyboard & trackball. Never played on a console so pads are alien to me.

Keyboard man here, although I would love to try out a pad some day. I hear it's much easier to get sped on bikes, although I don't seem to fall behind, so perhaps it's a moot point. Unfortunately it probably takes forever to get good at using a gamepad, so a quick try probably won't help me a lot. :p

i don't get the point of using a pad... i think keyboards are easier to use, since pads have keys all over the place (under, on the side and off course on top :))... About the "quicker on the bike"-thing using a pad: (most) of the time i'm in front with the bike (when it comes to accelerating, not winning the damn race, i hate the bike :P)... If u meant bicycle: i dont like that at all :P...

lal brujo, there has to be difference, i'm glad you noticed ours :P... but i can beat your ass in cornering :P... but we're a team, so somebody has to take lead and i want to give you the honor of that :D

PlayStation DualShock 2  + USB Adapter, using the exact same configuration at the PS2 version of GTA.

good things:

left analog up/down = lean foward/backward in bike, and camera top/bottom in car. ( no need to "tap" buttons to go faster :P)

Right analog = Camera, I can look ahead of turns , and up /down hills when racing :)

can do "slight" turns, no need to tap there again for little turns.

Can press way more keys at the same time

I tried once to fly with keyboard... eeek pain

I'm thinking of recording myself playing once, screen + hands on controller, just for the sake of it :P

Keyboard and Mouse here. have used PS1 pad rigged up to my pc when i played single player, but K+M much better IMO

I dont seem to have any slower-that-others-on-bikes problem either raz0
flight isnt a problem with keys for me, just gotta tap em gently and for microseconds at a time hehe :P

using the mouse to look ahead in tight turns, but this is kind of hard, cause i drive with the left hand then :-\
...should have a special "mouse mounted on head" to use camera, this would be cool ;D

So in short: knuckles and el brujo use a pad... and the rest of the world are using the most senseable solution xD
Some ppl say that tapping the keys during flight is precision work, but i think it's not that hard really... I'm pretty darn precise with those keys when it comes to flying (which i dont like, but still)...
