Donations should be out of love and support for the server. Not to get the extra benefits. The additional perks are to thank the donators for a donation, but this shouldn't be the main reason to donate.

First of all, you should have checked the forums for topics about donations (which exist, and which announce the donator benefits).
Second, you should read forum rules before starting to post because:
