How to create your own mIRC channel ?First open up mIRC and identify yourself. (You need a registered nickname in order to register a channel)
Choose a name for your channel and join that channel.
(/join #channelname)
Then type :
/cs register [#channelname] [password] [short description]Now you registered your channel, and you are registered as it's owner. Like this:
If you didn't automatically receive the "~" in front of your name, just type the following commands:
/cs identify [#channelname] [channelpassword]and
/cs owner If you want a bot for your channel type
/bs botlist and choose a Botname.
Then do
/bs assign [#channelname] [Botname you have choosen] to assign the specified Bot to your channel.
After that you have your channel with a bot!
If you want to set someone on a higher position like "+" or "%" do :
/cs [look down to my description] [#your channel name ] [add] [name of the user]To delete it just replace "add" with "del".
To perform more commands on players do
/cs help you'll find a list with help topics.
* description:"vop" = + (voice rights: you'll still be able to talk when the channel is muted)
"hop" = % (halfop rights: like a moderator, kicking and muting is in your power)
"aop" = @ (op rights: lika an admin, banning and several other controls are at your disposal)
"sop" = & (higher admin: some more stuff you can do)
If you want your own topic without any extra colours just do that:
Double click in the red marked field.
A new window pops up. Now you can write your own topic in the again red marked field:
To use colors in your topic or in your chat text use ctrl+k to pop up the colors window.
To use underline, bold etc fonts, the same shortcuts as in Microsoft Word apply. (ctrl+B, ctrl+U, ctrl+S, etc..)
So thats all, you have your own channel now.
