GTA online is quite cool if you are into racing, which I am.

But besides that it is a giant fuck-up, indeed.

The first month was pretty incredible. People used to orgasm when I joined the lobby because I was at least twice their level. Until I was ~ level 70 I didn't see a single person with a higher level, even though people farmed and glitched the shit out of the game. I simply raced.

But now it is just over. People discovered ways to ruin the game.

Want some examples?

People stay inside their appartment if they have a bounty on their head. They stay there until the time is over and they get a reward for surviving. Until then they sit in front of a virtual TV, observing other players who camp in front of their appartment. I mean.. how pathetic is that? Why does the fucking time even count down when you are hidding your sorry ass in a place where nobody can possibly reach you?

Tanks. Many people farmed some imbalanced missions and glitched cash only to receive a tank as fast as possible. They sit in their tank, blow up everything they see. They are immune to basically anything. They spawn kill you over and over again with you having no chance of getting away (you respawn right next to them). This goes on and on for at least 10 minutes usually. You might enter passive mode, but that costs $100. If you currently have no $100 with you, then you are fucked, because you have no chance of using your phone to access your bank fast enough. You can only wait until you have a lucky spawn position with a car right next to you and the tank being at least 2 streets away. Alternatively you can use a rocket launcher. Each rocket costs $500. You need at least 10 rockets. You might be out of rockets. You need Level 100 for rockets. Till the second-last update those fags could even glitch insurance on their tanks, so you would have to pay for their tank if you destroyed it (something like $22.500) and YOU would receive a bad sports warning. But luckily that last thing is finally fixed.

But that at least brings the most enjoyable freemode activity with it. Tank hunting. When you receive the heavy sniper you can take out tanks from a distance of like a thousand yards away. The childs cry in the most amusing way you can possibly imagine. I sometimes wait until they get back in, and 0.00001 seconds after they sat in, i shoot at the right spot again

But ye.. the pure free-roaming currently is a giant load of bullshit, filled to the top with imbalanced stuff. All in all very disappointing.

I sold my PS3 now alongside with all games, before it totally runs out of value and before I smash it. The dualshock 3 is already taped and fixed with giant metal screws . I have gotten quite good at fixing these things xD

GTA V was awesome for a certain amount of time, but in the end nothing but annoying. The race system started to annoy me the most. My race stats are 460 wins (= 1st place) and 160 loses (= not 1st place), okay probably about 200 loses considering the unbearable situations I ragequitted. However.. my stats scared the hell out of people, most of all because I mainly used an Adder, which most people are too useless to handle so they use the Entity with far better handling but a tiny disadvantage in top speed.

Many of them left the game right before the race started because thats the only time you can actually see a persons win/loss ratio. Really.. 30 seconds before the race started they gave up and waited another 5 min until the next race got going

But why did I sell all the PS3 then you may be asking now. The answer is quite simple:
The better you become, the bigger your desire to win becomes and the more you will be pissed off to lose. And I simply couldn't stand it any longer that some people were only able to stay behind me because they constantly drove in slipstream during the ENTIRE race. When I was able to get them out of slipstream range, the catch-up feature came into effect so I was never able to lose them entirely, unless they were completly useless. In long races you can drive a perfect lap and people who did 5 crashes during the race are still able to win. Even if all players used the same car.

So motherfucking annoying.

In additon to that, the hacking has become a really big deal too. Unbelievably many people are already Level 200+, which 95% of them should not be capable to achieve even in a year. I am not even level 150 with those stats. Glitched tanks everywhere, but even worse: Health hackers who can't be killed in any way and, how could it be different, money hackers who send you millions of cash and ruin your entire fairplay achievements. You can't get rid of the cash. No /charity and also a limit for non-hackers of how much cash they can send. You can only ask the rockstars support to remove the cash from you.

Or the tl_dr; version: It is getting easier to win for people who do not deserve it and its getting harder to win for people who do deserve it.

I will only play with friends or people i know online though. GTA IV was a hackfest like you said and GTA V will probably be the same so yea i agree.

Meh.. maybe the standard I have in mind is a different one because littlewhiteys is almost entirely cheater-free.

But even without all the cheaters and glitchers, people in GTA V would still be able to piss you off more than in any other game. I met one guy who, out of nowhere, managed to kill me in an especially lame way and from then on, every time I got even close to him he instantly entered passive mode so that I couldn't take revenge. This went on for several hours. He didn't do anything else but to hide from me with passive mode and spam me with messages until I blocked him.

Or a group of 2 german racers: One of them did nothing but ram and block you while you are unable to escape him (slipstream, catch-up). Why? Because he wanted to make sure that his mate wins. They even had microphones so I understood what they were saying. The rammer always encouraged the racer to give it his all, the racer always cried like a fucking baby kid like "HE WILL GET ME SOON RAM HIM BUZBHIBUHIBUHUH (("

Game came out on my birthday, so Of course I had a awesome birthday back in september, I have been enjoying this game for a while. Me and a few members from this community have been playing exclusively on ps3. So if anyone wants to join us just shot me a PM.

It's been almost 7 months since GTA V was released, there hasn't been any announcement or leaks that could lead to any clues about a possible port to the pc platform. I suppose we all can agree that it's not going to happen.

PC will happen.

Also Rockstar has been in talks with other companies (that make PC hardware and stuff) about GTA V which indicates that GTA V will deffo come to PC.

Just be patient. It usually takes a year or so for GTA to come to PC when they release it on the consoles.
